  4. My complaint is not getting the clutch hit when they have runners in scoring position with 0 or 1 out. They need those hits when they play the dodgers and better teams 😊

  10. There is a chance the Padres not only won't have to face the Dodgers in the postseason, the Dodgers might fall completely out of the playoffs.
    It's not likely but the Padres won't be the reason unless the Padres sweep both series against the Dodgers which isn't likely.
    For that to happen, Cincinnati would have to hold up their happen which isn't happening yet and the Mets would have to continue their freefall which unbelievably is as bad as the Dodgers if not worse.

    Probably the best likely outcome is if the Padres do unbelievably well against the Giants and Dodgers the next 2 weeks and continue to win each series to the end of the year, the Mets recover in time to be competitive so that the Dodgers, Mets and Reds are all fighting for the last 2 wildcard spots in the last week. The Giants have a mathematical chance but would probably have to win better than two of every three games outside of being beaten by the Padres.

  11. The biggest advantage the Padres have over every other NL playoff team is actually being well rested, and how that affects team health.
    Do the Padres have better big stars? Debatable although probably won't favor the Padres. But all year the Padres have won because of team performance, not individual heroics. It's enough to win games if every Padre plays 10% smarter and makes better decisions than the other team..
