First Comment Good Game but hopefully we can contend next year.
Here before Mittens!
I've Been watching a lot of little league, a lot less errors.
Go cards
So many defensive liabilities, Gorman, walker, saggese have all been consistently error prone. burly playing shallow against power, Mcgreevy not aiming, Wynn with several after he’s been super solid. Lucky the marlins are terrible.
come on give us a 17 game winning streak
WOOT !! It was a PLEASURE to see in person UNDISPUTED Manager of the Year Oliver Jose Marmol and his St. Louis Cardinals (the GREATEST team in the league), the HOTTEST team since All-Star Break. The squad goes 98-64, TAKES the NL Central, MAKES the postseason once again and in two/three months (depending on when the games are in October/November), HUDDLES with a World Series trophy for an unprecedented TWELFTH time!
SETTING THE TONE in the top of the first inning. Iván Aaron Herrera, the 25-year-old from Panama City, Panama, gets the offense rolling by SMASHING an RBI single to right field, driving in Lars Taylor-Tatsuji Nootbaar!
Iván Aaron Herrera isn't done. In the top of the second inning, he RIPS an RBI single to right field, bringing in Thomas Darren Saggese and Nathan Michael Church!
In the bottom of the second inning, a FILTHY #SCTOP10 double play as shortstop Masyn Blaze Winn FIRED to second baseman Thomas Darren Saggese who then HURLED to a teammate at first base. That PROVES the STL is not only the best offensively, but defensively, too!
Pedro José Pagés, WOW ! In the top of the third inning, the 26-year-old from Maracay, Venezuela, BELTS an RBI single to right field, scoring Nolan Brian Gorman.
In the top of the fifth inning, GOOSEBUMPS … To kick it off, Masyn Blaze Winn, the 23-year-old from Katy, Texas, SHOWS HIS SPEED by crossing home plate! Afterwards, Nathan Michael Church, the 25-year-old from Newport Beach, California, has a CRAFTY sacrifice bunt to drive in Thomas Darren Saggese.
Like a good neighbor, Thomas Darren Saggese is there! In the top of the seventh inning, the 23-year-old from Carlsbad, California, has CRUCIAL insurance on the sacrifice fly to left field to bring in Masyn Blaze Winn.
Y'all, a STANDING OVATION goes to Michael Steven McGreevy! The 25-year-old from San Clemente, California, GIMME FIVE big strikeouts. CAP TIPS go to Matthew Patrick Svanson, Joseph Abel "Jojo" Romero and Riley Chun-Young O'Brien, all part of the best bullpen in the league, for the OUTSTANDING defense!
