Let’s settle these debates once and for all.

  1. Favorite team of all time, but let’s be honest. A pure 46 defense would get absolutely shredded by the modern NFL offense, regardless of the insane talent that they had. And Walter Payton and that offense would play more like the Derrick Henry Titans or CMC Panthers than anything else.

  2. Bringing the eighty five bears into the twenty twenty five league would be about as effective as bringing the 1966 ford lamon’s team to compete in twenty twenty five.

They wouldn’t understand the game, they’d be way outclassed but it wouldn’t matter anyway, because they’d all be banned for substances that have been banned in the n f l for thirty years

  3. I’m picking up prime Marino, prime Zack Thomas, Jason Taylor, a combo of 10 pick season Xavien Howard and prime Brent grimes, never losing a game again

  4. Love everything about that team, but… Even if they were taught modern schemes, only a handful of those guys would translate to the modern NFL. Athletes today are so much bigger, stronger and faster. The Fridge was an anomaly back then but now, everyone has big athletic guys.

Some would still be great. Walter of course is a given, some guys on the defensive line, Singletary, probably all the HoF guys in general.

Sure would be fun to watch though.
