Striking out looking on a 93 mph meatball down the middle from Pivetta who was on pitch # 109…
Don’t get me wrong Koss has played way above expectations this year but you just can’t be taking that pitch there

Lol I feel like their mantra is to take as many pitches as possible. Even if it’s a 3-2 count, and we’re losing.
The best part when this happens they look back at the ump like what that’s a strike.
At least he’s keeping the pitchers on their toes. Either he’s going to swing at the first outside pitch half the time or go deep in the count and stare down a meatball
That’s not his pitch guys, what do you want him to do, fly out to the warning track?
1 run again. Cool!
In fairness this is the dude who took one right down the middle and struck out on a kike Hernandez 60 mph fastball. Wouldn’t call him a typical giants hitter or even a professional one at all
Someone posted a stat here a few days ago showing that Giants’ hitters are caught looking at more meatball pitches than any other team. FIRE BURRELL!
They look for one pitch and simply don’t swing if it’s not that pitch. It’s crazy how bad this team is at pitches middle-middle
I have been trying to tell everyone it’s the long con. We are taking strike-three fastballs down the middle until the scouting report says to pitch fastballs down the middle with two strikes. Then just that one time in the clutch, we’ll get one, hit it, and we will score a single run!
I kind of get look for your pitch. But with 2 strikes, what is the logic of not swinging at close pitches, let alone one down the middle.
Koss is a first pitch guy. Not a last pitch guy.
Yeah for real. Getting fooled on a middle middle hardly any movement meatball is our MO
But look we got 109 pitches out of him… gotta try to get to that “best in mlb” bullpen. /s
He was waiting for one a little more down the middle, that one was 1” off, not his pitch!
this offense is so incredibly bad, especially considering the high payroll.
someone MUST be held accountable or nothing will change.
You’re literally mad at the backup shortstop.
Even the Blind Baseball League hitters swing at hittable pitches.

I swear Burrell is trying to make the entire team swing for the fences every at bat and telling them just to take strike 3 until they get “their pitch.”
Can we just fire him already
You can’t use Koss as our example. You know Wilmer’s raking that pitch
