  1. He is definitely pitching better in New York than he did here, though he was obviously pretty good here as well other than the first two weeks of the season that got him demoted. Quite a ride for him in 2025.

  2. I mean, he should have absolutely been traded. The return should have been better. But Cherington prefers quantity over quality

  3. Them using him as a 2 inning closer wasn’t what I had on my bingo card. Always felt like when his pitch count got up his pitches flattened out and he got shelled

  4. In several other timelines Bednar is the heart and soul and Skenes is the dick and balls of a team making a serious playoff push 2024-whenever.

Instead here on Earth 412 the Pirates are owned by a cartoonishly evil motherfucker named Robert Nutting.

  5. Good for him. Cherington likely opted for catchers because Davis looks like he’s gonna be Jason delay at best and endy’s catching career is probably over. Not as bad of a trade as it could’ve been, let it go. There’s no point in the pirates having an all star closer. The Jameson tailon and Josh bell trades were far worse

  6. If we would have gotten a top tier prospect for Bednar, we would have had to bring him up to the big leagues. We all know that’s not happening with this ownership

  7. Who would have guessed David Bednar was a good reliever? Crazy suggestion.

The decision to trade him was the right decision, the trade was just dogshit from BC.

  8. I’m happy a guy from Mars is out there killing it for the Yankees. Makes this Martian proud.

  9. Glad our friend is doing well. I don’t like to see Yankees do well but I’ll make an exception for when he pitches.

  10. Still don’t understand why baseball doesn’t have a salary cap while the nfl and nba do. Can anyone help me with this?
