The Green Bay Packers should try to trade for Micah Parsons, even if it means overpaying
Now is the time to think as big as possible for Brian Gutekunst and the Green Bay Packers. Go get Micah Parsons, even if it means making an outrageous offer. Make Jerry Jones say no! Plus, Jeff Hafley is getting even wackier about wanting to disguise his defense.

We're talking about a generational talent, a HOF talent in Parsons. You can't draft those when you're the Packers, and those players don't make it to FA. Pay the price and make it happen. He's not Reggie, but it's the closest level of impact comparative in today's NFL. Find a way, Gutey.
I find it hilarious that anyone believes the Cowboys would trade Parsons to the Packers at any price. If they trade him, they’ll send him to an AFC team
Get real, Gutenwhatever drafts and develops. Quit dreaming.
Would you give up Gary and a player like Jenkins, Rhyan, or Walker with a pick to get Parsons.
The hour post-game show sounds good.
Teams ran at Parsons and he had a hard time stopping the run/ He would be a great 3rd down DE, but giving up a ton of future picks and a player isn't the answer/ The price tag and outlook doesn't make sense
Playing indoors, Micah is a great arena ball player. Real football outdoors, not so much. He’s fools gold for my Packers
I am concerned that the 2025 squad is not discipline. Coaching.
Why are you even talking about this because we all know that the Packers would never trade multiple 1st round picks for generational players like Micah Parsons
Agree, going after Parson is our modern day Reggie white
What about our secondary. I feel like this needs to be addressed
Can we stop with the pipe dreams of acquiring Hendrickson, Parsons, etc.? It's the Green Bay Packers. It's NOT going to happen.
Thank you Peter! Finally I’ve been saying this for years. It’s time for the Packers to go all in on truly elite players. We at least need 1 more. Preferably an elite pass rusher. The Packers are great a drafting depth pieces not superstars. Give them 3 firsts for all I care Gute’s first round picks almost always suck anyways. I still doubt the Cowboys trade him, but who knows if you give them an offer they can’t refuse…
They won’t trade him to GB
Don't hold your breath.
What Micah would do for us….man! GO PACK GO💚💛🧀
I'm a Peter fanboy, but I couldn't disagree more. As great as Parsons is, the idea of giving up a high level player, multiple high level draft picks AND paying $41-42/M year for Parsons? Hell, the Cowboys don't want to pay that much for him, and he wouldn't cost them ANY players or draft picks. I'm still a fanboy, but that's some powerful, off-season Kool-Aid.
What if we sell the farm for him and he tears his acl on the first snap?
You’ll never convince me that using a top 60 pick on a box safety is a good use of draft resources. What a waste.
Parsons yes. Don't do Willis like that. He has earned his spot.
Don't dare do it Packers! He is not all that on natural turf.
How about we get a good corner before we get a PRACTICE SQUAD QB, eh?
Keep x
I’m still super worried about the CB room more than anything else…
The Boys have been under-achievers for many years. And the only common thread in that time is Jerrah.
wr, first round pick and a DE might be good enough for him
LOCKED ON WISCONSIN SPORTS LETS GOO
Gutey and the "packer way" front office value their picks like Thanos does the infinity stones. We will NEVER trade for a player like Micah Parsons. Even with Mack, we got outbid. Oh the Bears picks will be higher, than throw in more to get it done. We are going to do the same thing to Love that we did to Rodgers, do enough to be playoff contenders but not enough to super bowl contenders and waste another 10 years of high QB play. The Rams, who i would argue on paper are just as good as us, hadnt had a 1st rounder since the Reagan administration and have a ring by being aggressive and hitting on the picks they did keep. Philly, Detroit, Baltimore, Buffalo, Kansas City, Pittsburgh all the contenders from the last decade or so have all been aggressive supplementing their rosters by making big trades. Even the cowboys and bears are more aggressive than us. But, if we trade any picks for the next draft, we may not be able to draft that offensive lineman to develop for the 2029 season!!
It's one thing to give a player praise at their position but you sound more like you're infatuated
Peter has a man crush on Micah Parsons
This has to be the dumbest take. Every smart packer podcaster is saying “steer clear” and giving intelligent reasons why. This guy has no clue… dislike, no sub.
