deceased team
This team is cooked. I do not see redemption coming.
At least the mariners are taking backshots from the philly phanatic
What an embarassing series
Owned by Montero lmao…wow
No one, and I mean NO ONE shuts out the 2025 Astros for four games in a row.
I hate to pile on with the negativity, but at what point does the team call it quits on the Cam Smith experiment and send him down to sugarland to build back his confidence? I mean this dude is absolutely floundering at the plate. Love the kid and think he can be a star but good god.
We scored. Progress.
Glad to sea Seattle is still shitting the bed with us!!

I’ve completely checked out at this point
this team needs to be banished to the shadow realm
Shout out to the Mariners for making what could have been the worst week and change of baseball into one of morbid humor in regards to the standings
This series effectively locks us into the 3 seed at best. I just don’t care anymore. Get me into October baseball with Yordan and Jake back, and anything can happen.
Also, fuck Framber. I am reminded of the Red Sox situation with Rafael Devers earlier this year. Sometimes no matter how good a player is, you cut bait when they become too toxic to keep around. Between his recent play, his attitude, and those horrible post-game comments, he needs to be gone.
I feel like we win that one 2-1 if Framber did StB in the 1st.
Just 13 more days until the NFL season starts and just days until the Texans season opener.
It’s okay everyone. Altuve told me this was just a prank. They’re gonna shake off the bandwagoners so it feels more like 2017.
Firing Cintron and Snitker is my WS
on to the next one, let’s sweep the orioles!
I know it’s been said but this team relies too much on pitching. Scoring 5 runs and sweeping the Phillies was nice but not sustainable. If Framber had not given up 6 in the 1st it would probably be 2-1. If Yainer doesn’t get called out yesterday, we probably win 1-0
At least we didn’t get shut out again.
Thanks Dubón, at least we snapped that scoreless inning streak at 31. Let’s see if Astros hitting can do a better job against Baltimore pitching in the rematch.
Cintron and Snitker needs to be fired before they leave Detroit. Gutless offensive performance by the team. Honestly, I would have preferred shutout instead of Dubon HR so team could get more embarrassed.
I’m tired, boss
Also, still in 1st, btw! Hanging on by a thread, but still there.
Should have traded Framber when we had the chance. Imagine the haul we could have gotten
Genuine miracle we didn’t lose ground to the Mariners during this stretch. Hell we GAINED A GAME
Everyone was talking about a deep run just a couple weeks ago. Have faith, this is the Astros we are talking about.
SHOOT IT HOUSTON TEXAS !
The good news it’s over the bad news we have to play again tomorrow
I’m over the strength and conditioning staff of this team. I’ve held back saying anything but 10 years in the industry, I’m over our dudes getting hurt every other day.
At least we didn’t lose 11-2 lol.
God bless the Phillies. They are single handedly the reason why we are still 1st in the ALW lmao
At least Seattle got swept too
I’m losing hope for the first time in a while. I don’t even think they could turn it around if they Jake, Issac and Yordan back. Still in it though I guess 🤘🏼
Hey, at least the Mariners are skidding just as badly as us so we’re not ceding any ground in the standings to them.
The good news is that if we can somehow split the series in Baltimore then no matter what the Mariners do, we’ll go into Monday no worse than tied for the division lead. Then we have 7 games against the Rockies (3) and Angels (4), all at home. Meanwhile Seattle will play the Padres and Guardians. There’s hope yet that in a week and a half maybe we’ll have been able to add a game or two to the division lead. Or maybe this is it and the collapse is on. Hopefully we can just hang on a bit longer and try to get back to something resembling full strength soon.
That was the best 8 innings of baseball I’ve seen in a week
Framber’s a left-handed pitcher with a nasty curveball with no problems staying healthy or giving you depth. That’s a package prized by MLB GMs. Yet I find myself looking forward to the day when he’s someone else’s headcase, not ours.
How the fuck do we still have first place lmao
So what are we actually going to do from here? I am not sure I have ever seen the entire roster of a team slump at the same time. Not a single batter is playing above their mean right now. We don’t have anyone at AAA that can come up, and while Alvarez is close, Meyers is still a week or two away and who knows if he can get back to the level he was pre-injury
The crazy thing is we could/should have won last night and if you take away Valdez’s meltdown innings today maybe we win as well. Our pitching is still mostly good, we’ve just had zero support from the offense. Yes, we’ve had blowouts on paper, but they were mostly just throwing AAA pitchers under the bus or over pitching a guy (Dubin) who just came back from injury.

And yet somehow we’re still first in our division? Kings of shit mountain!
This was a great day to forget that we had an early game. Box score says it was over before it even started.
Looking at the probables for the next series, we are getting dog walked by Baltimore.
We can kiss the first round bye good bye with this crappie series. Gonna be in the Wild Card round again…
The Mariners losing games doesn’t really comfort me at all with what’s going on with our team.
Tigers fan here. Any word on Trammell?? Looked like he could’ve cracked some ribs or something. It looked awful 😞
At least Yainer got a walk today
Framber Valdez’s disastrous 1st inning:
Walk
Walk
Single
Double
Walk
Triple
Groundout

Double Play
+ 2 wild pitches.
6 runs allowed.
Are we just locked into facing a wild card round? That sucks but hopefully we can still guarantee Post Season.
