Arizona Diamondbacks pull Shaun Larkin from third base coach duties

Despite an Arizona Diamondbacks walk-off win to clinch the series against the Cleveland Guardians, Torey Lovullo announced the decision to relieve Shaun Larkin of third base coach duties but keeping him on to work with infielders. Burns & Gambo break down the latest from the organization.

  1. Yeah he’s been struggling at 3rd base coach for a while now it’s a harsh league even for coaches it’s what have you done for me lately 😂

  2. Larkin is probably a gr8 guy w/ a gr8 baseball mind, but he is not equipped to coach 3rd base. It’s Torrey’s fault for putting him in a position to fail!
Props to Gambo for calling for this for months! It is true that he has cost us at least 7-8 games. We’d be over .500 w/o Larkin.
Also note: not sure our infield is so great either.
Torrey saying “ I don’t know what’s going on” is a joke. That’s not management.
A real coach has an improved replacement before he demotes someone.
