I honestly think the bulls can be a contender for a playoff spot in the east with how they ended last season (you can't just ignore a quarter of the season saying it's "march basketball") but I think for that to happen Vucevic cannot be on this roster. Vuch carried the bulls the first half of last season but after Zach was traded and Coby and Josh stepped up Vuch was a near non factor for a ton of games, pretty much just out there to do nothing on D as well. With how fast paced the bulls are they need to prioritise trading for a big man who can defend in the post but is also mobile enough to be their on transition offence. That one move I genuinely think makes the Bulls a playoff team

    Coby averaging 25pts?…Not likely because of his streaky good and not so good shooting. His last 26 games including the Miami game he averaged 23pts. Not impossible but I will take the UNDER.
    Matas improved player? …Needs a Huge jump like averaging 19pts and his early returns on his shooting is average at best. Going to need lots of dunks. 🤭
    You think Arturas is going to make himself look bad trading somebody after giving him long contract? The NBA doesn't even know who Patrick Willaims is.
    Matas the best player next year? Once again he has to average 19pts and I will take the UNDER on that one.
    Bulls 6th?…..Yes the open east strengthens that notion and winning only 44 games is possible here.
    Terry in the rotation?…..Unless he can find a jump shot. 😆
    Okoro the best defender and fan favorite next year?……It seems to be we have another Patrick Williams on our hands. 🤣

In case you didn't hear about this A man betted 30 Rosier UNDER bets and won every single bet because Rozier exited the game playing only 8 minutes with a foot injury. The sports book held up the bet to investigate if there was inside knowledge by the bettor knowing this was going to happen or Rozier had something to do with this…….The Book couldn't prove anything or even the NBA. Last thing I heard they paid the bettor off 13,000 and some change. 😉

18. the bulls won 40 with Matas as a rookie. this team will win 47 next year and 55-60 when matas and giddy are in their primes.

    this a great core.

    we need a couple of defensive bigs and another wing scorer.

    these are some of the EASIEST commodities to attain.

    PG and a stud 6-10 dude that can do it all are very hard to find.

    he’s a really nice fourth or fifth option that still has the potential to become a third option someday. He can play defense and he can shoot from three point range. what other players are like him in that price range?

20. troy brown jr is in the NBA. of course terry is “an NBA level” player.

    he’s a quality back up SF who is still getting better. . the issue is, so is pat and okoro and phillips. plus matas and noa can play sf as well. so can giddy.

    it’s prob best for terry to go elsewhere and try and crack a rotation.

23. Patrick williams is a useful 3&D wing. There are like 4 good ones in the entire nba that are 6'8 and capable of ahooting 40% from 3 and actually being good on defense. Patrick will not be the star we hoped for, but he is a quality role player. Hes just over paid right now. I think we'd be happier with him if he only made 10M per season.

    Don't bring up him being the 4th pick. He didnt draft himself. Thats on the gm. They made that mistake. He is a good role player though. Kirk drafted in the top 10 in his draft and he was only a role player too.

26. AK Summer league interview said they expect slow but steady improvement this season and next. Bulls win 41 and finish 8th and lose before getting to get beat by 1st seeded team likely Cavs. Bulls front office will be satisfied with “team progress”. They signed extensions they are in no rush to make any high risk high reward moves. Hopefully we get two first round picks in 2026 and they don’t try and move one for cash considerations. Go Bulls.

27. Yeah Matas averaged 8.8 but his minutes were criminal. He needs 30+ min a night this year or Billy needs to watch his back. The jump from 13-20 isn’t much like you said and that’s a base of the minutes and roll he’ll have . Year 2 he’ll definitely be featured more and on the floor for his defense and intensity alone

36. I don’t know how you look at the Celtics rotation this year and see a team that finishes any higher than the 9th seed. They’re going from Tatum and Porzingis/Horford as their starting frontcourt to Georges Niang and Luka Garza. I really think Jaylen Brown is gonna be exposed this season as the primary option.

    Pacers are gonna fall hard too. Going from Hali to TJ McConnell as your starting PG is already tough, but they also have a huge hole at center now that Turner is gone. The only centers they have on the roster right now are Tony Bradley and James Wiseman.

    Cavs, Knicks, Pistons, Magic and Hawks are definitely better on paper and the Bucks have the best player in the east so can’t really count them out. But if our key players stay healthy I would be shocked if we end up worse than the Celtics or Pacers, I see us competing with the Sixers for the 7 seed
