   Seems like he figured out/adjusted to the major league pitching after half a season, which is normal.

   How did we get there?

   Where was the 3rd out of the top of the 1st?
   At least with the 1 pitch that created the 3rd out: 3-5 seconds of highlights time.
   OK, nothing happened in the bottom of the 1st. Plenty fair enough.

   Then at 0:45 …
   How did the bases get loaded in the top of the 2nd with 1 out?
   That is a VERY significant development leading up to an important moment in a baseball game.
   WHY did you not show us that?
   At least the basic pitches / plays to show how we got there.

   Again …
   6:44 Top of the 9th and nobody on. Strikeout. 1st out.
   6:48 Runner on 1st. Where did he come from?
   Then … 2nd strikeout … again.
   6:50 – 7:11 = 21 seconds of 2 replays on that 2nd strikeout … again.
   7:12 Runner on 2nd.
   AGAIN how did he get there?
   Then a line drive down the 3rd base line scoring the runner from 2nd
   who would not have scored if he was still on 1st.

   Again … 7:35 – 8:00 = 25 seconds of 4 replays of that hit.
   Then … 8:00 BASES LOADED.
   HOW DID WE GET THERE!?
   HOW about 1 replay and HOW did the bases get loaded?
   HOW can you not show us this?

   That is 2 bases loaded moments without a CLUE how we got there.
   That is 1 minute of multiple replays during the game and 1 minute of replays after the game in a 9 minute highlights video.

   That is 2/9ths (22%) of the video of multiple replays.
   And 2 bases loaded moments not shown how.

   Marquee Sports, your audience are baseball fans.
   Baseball is a game of complete focus.
   We need these details. These baseball details.
   Please respect your audience.

17. With cubs losing series to reds jays, cards, and barely squeezing the series from the pirates I never would’ve expected them to beat brewers 3 in a row. Strange season. But maybe this is the cubs finally waking back up. Brewers may cool off but they’re still going to be the playing good ball rest of the year. Cubs need a 5+ game win streak to get back into form

40. I hope the fans will get off Tucker's case now that we know about the hairline fracture. Though he did dog it on running to first, for that, he deserves the boos. He wants to play, not out of only a true desire to help the team, but, he needs to show every club that will bid for his services come the off season that he:s good for a full season of baseball. With a lockdown looming for 2027, it will be difficult bargaining out any long term commitments from some teams … like the Cubs ! cheapskate Ricketts !
