I agree that something seems wrong this year regarding Mixon. Hard to believe that Mixon starts the year for us, or is even playing in the first 4 games. Won’t know until the season starts, but I would plan to have Chubb, Pierce, Ogunbuwale and Marks ready to go. Crossing my fingers, but thinking and hoping that Pierce really brings it this year and he becomes the X-factor.
Texans certainly had hopes for Watson as they signed him to a two year contract.
In the NFL, from 2019 through 2023, Jakob Johnson had 19 receptions total (out of only 24 targets) for 105 total yards. He’s a great blocker, but he’s not a tight end. Go with Schultz, Stover and Harrison Bryant at TE and Johnson at Fullback. Caley and Popovich definitely seem to want a fullback. Hopefully, Lachey makes the practice squad, as I think he has a decent ceiling.
@codystoots you have Harrison Bryant not making the team? Interesting they would trade for him and cut him a week later
