11. I wish these sportscasters knew how to calculate a team being at .500.
    Yes, the media repeatedly colloquially reports the number of wins more than losses as "being over .500.
    If a team is 60-40 they are TEN–not 20 games over .500.
    If they were at .500 after playing 100 games, they'd have 50 wins and 50 losses.
    60-50 =10.
    Simple mathematics.
