EUROBASKET UPDATE: Franz Wagner’s shooting STRUGGLES continue | Tristan da Silva MAKES his mark

Eurobasket is coming quickly as Germany prepares to compete for the European title. Franz Wagner, though, is still struggling with his shot. Is it time to be concerned for Wagner’s hopes for the season or is there still time for Wagner to round into form?

Wagner continues to look like he has improved his form and score in the way everyone expects. But the shot has yet to come to form.

Elsewhere in Eurobasket prep, Tristan da Silva and Goga Bitadze have shined in their roles and look like they will be able to boost the Magic when they begin their season.

  1. His shot wont come back right away… but i think it will continue to improve.. by mid season he is gonna be fine from 3… call me an optimist, but i know he will figure it out.. he is too good not to

  2. Franz will be fine he going to have alot of open looks this season, he's the best player on his team so it's hard for him to get a decent open look rn

  3. I’m in the it’s time to worry camp. Not all about Franz but how it affects the magic as well. Not sure swapping one starter is going to make that big of a difference. If you’re only swapping one guy out you swap the coach.

  4. It will be nice if he becomes a good shooter but at the end of the day 25 points is 25 points not to many players can average 25 especially as a second option

  5. Goga should be starting over Wendell. Last year he was more efficient and his per-36 numbers were way better than Carter Jr. When we had huge win streaks in the last two years, Goga was the guy starting most of them. The Georgian Beast IS a luxury for this team. He is a solid center on a very reasonable contract.

  6. Nobody is creating in this german team other than Franz and Schroder, so there is clearly a lot of on-ball pressure on both of them, they don't get easy shots. Schroder is a proven shooter and he is struggling too.
