My proposal for a 28 team MLB. Themed divisions: Birds, Nautical, Old West, Land Animals, Drunks, LolAstrosDodgers, and of course the Im out of ideas division. Thoughts?

  1. Sharing a division with the 2 FL teams. Our travel schedule is going to be the stuff of legend

  2. Blue is Nautical Division: Mariners, Rays, Marlins, Pirates

Yellow is Bird Division: Cardinals, Orioles, Blue Jays, and Angels (they got wings)

Green is Drunk Division: Brewers, Rockies, Padres, Athletics (because their fans are probably alcoholics)

Purple is Old West Division: Braves, Reds, Guardians, Rangers (I am using the Guardians because they used to be Indians)

Red is the Land Animal Division: DiamondBacks, Cubs, Tigers Phillies

Black is the LolDodgersAstros Division: Dodgers, Astros, Royals, Nationals

Pink/purple whatever Out of Ideas Division: Yankees, Redsox, Giants, Twins

And I deleted the White Sox and Mets…. deal with it.

  3. In no reason as a Florida fan should the Tampa Bay and Miami be in the same division.

  4. 4 Corners Division. Seattle, SD, Miami, Boston
Oakland Division: Rockies, Twins, Orioles, Rangers (All teams play in Oakland)
The Three R’s: Rays, Royals, Reds
ESPN Premium: Yankees, Phillies, Dodgers, Cubs
    AssBro: Astros, Braves
ABBA: Arizona, Brewers, Blue Jays, Angles

    All other teams dissolve.

  5. I always thought we should do 15 divisions with 2 teams per division and each division winner goes to the playoffs but don’t change how many games are played essentially making it a 162 game series

  6. Le sigh.. there’s a lot of people from Chicago, Philadelphia and Detroit living in the valley

  7. Whatsa division: A’s, Phillies, Astros, Mets.

These are not really things like the others teams are.

  8. lmao the nautical division would produce some really good baseball, wouldn’t it?

  9. At least you’re going in the right direction to make MLB a more elite league.

Everyone wanting to add teams is just making MLB MiLB

  10. I would like to see a 4 corners division consisting of the Padres, Mariners, Red Sox, and Marlins.

  11. 28? Are two teams getting relegated? (Leave my White Sox alone! They’re getting better!)

  12. I like this so much more than the 50 thousand ā€œproposalsā€ for realignment we see every day that are basically all identical to one another. But it’s also a shitpost that probably doesn’t belong on this sub. So my comment is your upvote.
