Ant Attempts to Pronounce his Chinese Nickname

  1. Media charm and a swagger without a script. His presence always comes off as natural, not forced. Hope he can clean up his act off the court because Ant really has “it”.

  2. 华子huĂĄzi. I think it’s mostly just a shortened version of the Chinese pronunciation of his last name “Ai de hua zi”. Probably other more detailed meanings, too. I’m not a native speaker.

  3. The crazy thing is how nice they are to him. Because while he’s saying the words the tone the person off camera is saying and how he’s saying it isn’t the same.

The Chinese language has 4 tones and each has a difference. He gets it better on the second try but you gotta be really careful that you don’t use the wrong tone or you could say something you don’t mean to. Don’t want to call your mom a horse.

  4. I don’t get it.
USA is against everything what the communism represents but on the other hand every major sport star is over there.
On those trips there should be massive tariffs 😂

  5. eventually he’s going to run out of names for his sons so this’ll do for one of them

  6. You can tell he’s giving it his all in that clip, but the tongue twist got him good—props for the effort though, especially on his first China tour.
