Reverse 2018 prayer circle
Yup
Gonna be bittersweet to beat up on the Professor tomorrow for the sweep

Horton Heard the W
Kyle Tucker heard y’all talkin’ shit.
6 games back feels and sounds a lot better than 7 games back imo

Even with all the runs, game only took 2 hr and 24 minutes.

I am now 3-0 for Cubs/Angels games at Angel Stadium
We had 21 games this month prior to this one. We scored more today than 10 of those 21 games combined.
Get the runs in tonight so we get a good pitchers duel tomorrow followed by an Angel’s bullpen implosion.
Ben brown rolls easiest save ever, asked to return to Iowa for more tinkering

So… that went okay!
Do you ever feel…blissful?
I think it was very clever of Kyle Tucker to have one more game of being total ass at the plate before this series started and fooling us into thinking he was never going to hit a ball with authority again.
Much needed easy win. Cade looked great. Ben Brown did his job with minimal damage. Tucker had a monster night. McGuire had the surprise big blow (or big jerk?) of the game. Caissie had one of the hardest hit balls I think we’ve seen from a Cub all season.
And now we’re in position for a sweep.
Lot easier to stay up late for a blowout

The man, the myth, the disrespect
Kyle Tucker had as many extra base hits (4) the last two games as he did in his previous 39.
Man we really get to watch cade horton pitch for our favorite baseball team
Elise: you were missing balls in the middle of the plate before, why are you successful now?
Tucker: I’m not missing those
lmao
Bats coming back to life?????

Cubs still have a chance to win the division
I take it back. Give Tucker what ever he wants.
It’s a lot nicer when you score more runs than the other team.
Man the three consecutive questions about tuckers performance was a bit unnecessary, could have asked him just once and then focused on the positives
Game one starter Cade Horton?
Now’s the time for the Cubs to get hot, we don’t face a team above .500 until September 19th and that’ll be against the Reds.
