  2. I would trade Parsons. Too many players only care about money. I would rather have 40 good hungry players than 4 players that are top in class. I’d give Parsons 3 maybe 4 years. His body will break down.

  13. This is not a defense of Jerry, as I feel like he has handled this horribly. However, I also blame Parsons for taking negotiations too personally and making emotional decisions. That is why agents typically shield their players from things, so they dont get too emotional during negotiations

    Granted, Jerry has been trying to bypass the agent. But Parsons also has to be smarter in not getting so emotionally involved. He could end up making a decision that hurts his career or reputation

  15. Adam Schefter didn't say they were headed for a divorce because he knew something or was told something. He said they were headed towards a divorce because of the way things seem to him. That's not real news

  16. Mike Florio, among others, reported that the Cowboys declined to sign Parsons after his third season because "they were just tired of Parsons bulshit"

    If anybody is wandering what that means Jane Slater reported that player after player after player walked into the coaches office and asked them to do something about Parsons because they were all so sick of his bulshit.

    Demarcus lawrence, a player who was a leader on this team for a decade, called out Parsons for something along the lines of not living up to his commitment, running his mouth and pretending to be a leader but not acting like one.

    Malik hooker called out Parsons for something along the lines of not being prepared and having too many side distractions.

    My point is once they determined after season 3 not to re-sign him yet because of all of the drama surrounding him I don't know that it is a fair chance to say that "the plan was always to make him a Cowboys for life"

  17. Whatever…. Not crazy about paying 45 million per year or whatever the crazy number will be just for an undersized edge rusher who doesn’t play the position he was drafted to play. Great against sub par linemen, gets bullied against better ones. Doesn’t play coverage often.
    I love Micah. But, we have enough edge rushers on this team to get by without having to pay another huge contract that limits getting other resources. Where’s Micah in the playoffs… I’ll give the Dak Prescott haters playoff speech: he’s invisible in the playoffs, never gets sacks or pressures, gets bullied, doesn’t help much in the run stop. Ide like him on the team vs playing against him, however, if we get a good trade offer for additional help in the future- I’m down for it. We haven’t gotten close to the SB with him so. I personally wouldn’t sign a 40-45 mil contract just for him to rush the passer. I can get cheaper guys (multiple) to share the load. That’s just my opinion, and I’m just a nobody. With or without 11, DC4L!!!

  20. This is why football or any sport as far as that goes is getting to be no fun to watch all these players wanting big money but to me play the damn game from your heart and enjoy the game for what it is.
    This crap is getting very old been Cowboys fan for over 45 years and always will.

  25. If Jerry completes the deal early, the headlines stop and every sports show stops talking about them. In order to keep the intrigue going, the conversation must slowly escalate. It's all drama. Micah is going nowhere. Worse, if Mr. Jones honestly doesn't believe that the 2025 Cowboys can genuinely compete, well, now he has a scapegoat. He saves some money during a losing season and gets tons of press to deflect. 30 and counting.

  31. So, I'm a bartender in Ft Pierce, FL. A client came in yesterday and we started talking about the Cowboys because I had the NFL Network on, and of course the cowboys was the topic. Anyway, he has met Jerry and said he was a very personable "salesman " and that when the conversation was over and he was walking away, he felt like he needed to wash his hands. Says everything about just how slimy lying Jerry is.

I'm definitely not saying Jerry is not at fault at some things, but if he is so terrible and do not care about winning….why do we draft so many superstars that eventually demand top dollar on the market??? In the 30 years at the helm we have drafted multiple superstars. At some point we just have to do better on the field!!!!

  36. ESPN are the same people that during the time Owens was on the team one season reported that Owens was holding out for a rise in pay and guess who was in the cowboys weight lifting room with parcells standing right beside him watching the report you guessed it Owens

  40. Cowboys fans I can tell you exactly how we can fix this and not let crap like this happen ever again. We need to punch back, we have to stop buying Cowboys merchandise and stop buying tickets to the games and if you hit Jerry Jones where it hurts in the pocket book he will start caring about us fans and making better choices and decisions. Trust me we need to try it and spread the word.

  42. The handshake deal with JJ probably looked great to MP. Then the agent says to MP – follow my playbook and I'll make that deal look like chump change. JJ should trade MP for maximum value and build for future. DAL ain't going anywhere this year with or without him.

  47. I would be more than disappointed if they don’t resign Parsons, but he is not a superstar, not yet. From what I’ve seen he’s very one dimensional. He’s exhausted, takes himself out for plays late in games. For what he’s asking, he better be on the field . Drop the podcast BS and concentrate on football
