  1. I know we don’t hear a ton from Holly, but when we do she seems like a classy person.

  2. “This is the hard part. Thinking of every single player chasing their dreams and the people who love them and cheer them on. Making the team or getting cut doesn’t change your worth…just changes your next step. Keep going!!!💙💙💙”

  3. What a crazy concept…treating the people who make your business like *people*. Good on her.

  4. Nice sentiment. Really matters how the FO handles cuts and trades. So far Brad Holmes and MCDC have been pretty great about treating players with respect.

Still it’s a tough league. Best wishes to everyone who tired to be a Lion this year. No remorse if we have to beat in this season.

  5. the roster is so loaded that i think some players we have to cut might have a chance somewhere else. lots of good fringe players this year

  6. I can tell from Hard Knocks and subsequent years that this part weighs heavily on Dan, especially as a former player who was fighting cuts his last few years. Having to send players home who might never play another game or step inside an NFL building has to be such an emotional time, and to have to do it 25-30 times in a few days.

  7. She probably sees first hand how difficult this time is for Coach Dan, I can imagine he’s probably a complete mess during this process

  8. Everyone around this organization seems to be the kind of person you’d want to be around. The entire culture change isn’t even that new now but still seems unreal.

  9. From the initial picture, I thought it was a pregnancy announcement and a crude reference to sex.

Then, I read the caption. Samsonite, I was way off.

  10. It’s cool to know that if the coaches wife feels this way it’s because Dan feels this way or stronger. He’s turned it around and I’m glad it has equaled on field success for the team not only because I’m a fan but because I like to see genuine people do well.
