  1. If Wentz still has the hero ball mindset his career even as a backup will probably be over in a year or so. If anyone can save Wentz it's KOC. But hopefully, McCarthy stays healthy and plays well enough to keep Wentz off the field.

  2. ? Did Mike drink this morning? So the Vikings signed Wentz as a backup as a rouse? Just to throw off the League? Because he made bad decisions sometimes in the past? Jesus dude, no more scotch before 7 am please.

  3. Sorry guys you two did not do your homework. Max Brosmer plays with great anticipation and knowledge of the game, and he will be a starter in this league. He will be a game winning backup this season.

  4. Howell shows what a cheap backup who started a season who almost hit 4000 yards, they got a 5th (I do not consider 6th and 7ths as having any value) for the guy and they probably would have kept him if they only were offered a 7th. He will be a managed Eagles cheap backup the next 2 years and the cap they save, turns a 6th into a late 5th. The Vikings want a guy who can throw the ball around without mistakes. At this point Wentz is picking the team and when Cleveland or any below 500 team comes knocking there are several million added to the demand, because he does not want to be on a bad team with a bad offensive coach.

  5. I highly doubt Wentz would've signed with Minnesota if there was a good chance he'd be a third stringer lol. Whatever you think of him, he's still more than qualified to be a top backup in this league. Also, he clearly still thinks of himself as a starter and was waiting out opportunities until it got closer to the season and the Vikings just happened to need a backup. Based on the teams he's been a backup for the past few seasons, I think he understands the value of just being part of good organizations and that if he ever does get to resurrect his career down the line, spending time around good coaches is the best way to go about it.

  6. 06:50 wtf is Florio talking about? When Teddy went down in 2016, the team traded a 1st for Sam Bradford. That situation did not make Wentz the starter, he was halfway across the continent in Philly! 🤣

  7. Sam Howell traded to the Eagles, and Carson Wentz signs with the Vikings—WHAT is going on with these QB moves? 🧐 Minnesota is clearly in scramble mode, but will Wentz actually make a difference, or is this just a short-term fix? Let's discuss!

  8. Wentz is an insurance policy. If Max Brosmer continues to progress the way he has so far, and if a backup isn't needed until later in the season, it wouldn't surprise me if they go to Brosmer after Wentz struggles, if he does.
