5. Might want to consider that some owners may not like a specific agent because of a certain QB contract that spoiled the QB market. Micah's agent getting another market breaking deal seems like the rub for Jerry.

8. A bandaid deal would be the worst case senario, the other examples were for players who at the time were happy or in positive situations but just wanted more money. Those deals were made in faith that the team will be better and the player will get their money to stay there. Chris Jones ended up staying and the team kept going in the right direction, and Barkley left but the team was becoming bad. Parsons has no reason to want to sign that to be disrespected and on a bad team imo, the only reason would be to take something short where he has control to leave at the end but the Cowboys have no reason to sign it either… the bandaids usually at least begin in good faith and this one isnt that at all

If Parsons is under contract……a contract that doesn't require a new contract before the existing one expires, ….seems like Parsons is wanting something he is not legally entitled to.
