  1. Sweet! They gave him the 91mph meatball right down the pipe and he knew what to do with it! Cool… and cool moments this season have been far too few

  2. And a standing ovation when the Giants lost….again. Probably won't pass 70 wins this season. Biggest shame in the entire league.

  3. Giants still suck going nowhere as long as they keep having the same thinking as the last GM. .500 is lost. Not good enough for a playoff run not bad enough for a high pick. On top of that dull boring team to watch.

  4. Giants fan here. Happy to have him. He's a solid every day player, probably the 6th or 7th best all around shortstop in baseball. He's shown he is capable of 32/112/.285 if he has a career year. But pencil him in for 20/80/.245, and then look around and see how many shortstops will give you more than that in any given year. It's a short list. The great and beloved Brandon Crawford had seasons like that or better exactly twice. Crawford was a notch higher with his glove, but the Giants are lucky to have this position sewed up for the next 6 years. Barring serious injury, this man can help the Giants be a great team again.

  5. Maybe the only best moment of the season so far for the Giants. Such a huge fan base for the Giants across the Bay, one of THE most spectacular ballparks on the planet, all the money in the world and yet we simply cannot compete …they give us hope half the season and snatch it in a blink ..at this point I am not even sure where they go from here next season. I will still be Giants for life …never gonna quit on my hometown team. I am just hoping ownership ..since its bunch of investors that own the Giants can seriously pivot this next offseason and get something done…Go Giants.
