  1. Love a 3 team homestand after the all star break. Deserved especially after 3 city road trip before the break. I also like having Cubs games in September they will be fun. August is something but manageable

  2. I’m bummed they’re playing Boston so early in the season. I like to go when they come out, but it’s always miserable in Fenway that time of year

  3. Didn’t have a home game on my birthday this year but we’re back in 2026 let’s gooo

  4. Am I the only one who doesn’t like this much interleague play? I miss the days of all the games against the divisional rivals.

  5. I hate that all but one of the cubs series are during the week. Makes going to the games much harder!

  6. Why do we do the off day in the opening series? I thought only MORANS did that?

  7. >[Hogg] Those games against the A’s of Sacramento will actually be in Vegas. It will be the second minor league park to call the A’s home in 2026.

    >there’s really nothing the league could have done about this, but “MLB releases its 2026 schedule literally at the same time as Taylor/Travis engagement announcement” might be peak baseball announcement timing

The Red Sox made a video announcement with Fenway franks, haha https://bsky.app/profile/redsox.com/post/3lxcz5zptfc2b

  8. Geez, almost the entire month of September on the road. That’s going to be rough

  9. Goddammit – a 3-game series in Pittsburgh right before the ASB? Those never look good.

  10. Guys when do tickets for individual games generally go on sale?

My family always goes to white sox brewers games when we’re playing at Miller Park and I’m nervous about it being opening weekend now lol

  11. In my quest to get to all the stadiums, I’m thinking I may need to book a weeklong trip across Baltimore and Philly mid to late September. A 2-hour drive apart in the fall seems pretty nice.

  12. I love opening in March. Easily the worst month of the year. Winter is over spring not yet begun, plus the yearly gaslighting that March Madness is a good sporting event. Baseball can never get there soon enough.

  13. 17 consecutive games in August. Again.

Is that pretty common in MLB scheduling?

  14. Penciling in that series in Houston.
I hate the 3hour drive to Arlington to watch vs Rangers (I’ll be making it in a couple of weeks though).
