  1. Nolan Gorman, my power hitting third baseman, I know you’re reading this game thread. Please do me one small favor tonight by parking a baseball 420 feet north-east. Thank you.

  2. 6 game suspension for Contreras. At least the Cardinals are already well used to playing short a position player or two.

  3. [Pirates](/r/Buccos) Due Up **(Top 1):**

    1. Jared Triolo
    2. Spencer Horwitz
    3. Bryan Reynolds

  4. Last nights win was the start of the playoff chase Cardinals will win 12 of their next 14 …….. oh wait Pallante is on the mound tonight and he’d have to pitch again oh, and Miles is still pitching for this team never mind

  5. Get ready to learn ‘bullpen arm’ in 2026 Pallante. What a disappointment he has been this year

  6. Pallante really needs the best defense behind him. We had two ground balls that might have been outs by a better 2B, and Burleson turned a single into a double because he waddles instead of runs.

  7. So – what exactly has happened to Pallante this year that he has looked so bad? Not saying he was ever going to be a Cy Young contender, but his fastball the last two years actually performed tremendously well results wise – and this year it has cratered (kind of like Helsley). I haven’t heard any discussions on him using a different arm slot like there was with Helsley. I feel like watching him he just isn’t hitting the edges – stuff seems very much either middle or too far off the plate for players to think about biting at, but didn’t know if anyone had done any looks into what exactly has changed. Is it simply that he’s lost location and is just leaving his fastball out over the plate way more than he did in prior years? And if so – do we have any idea *why* he suddenly lost complete feel for this fastball?

  8. Feel bad for Pallante. He’s had good stretches in this league but I think he might be figured out

  9. Seems like we are always playing from behind, and have given up a ton of first inning runs this season.

  10. If there’s not somebody warming up in a bullpen well, whatever the season’s lost anyway don’t get anybody hurt

  11. Chip just said Dusty Blake didn’t anticipate this. Bullshit this happens every game he starts

  12. So what’s everyone watching after we turn off our tvs after the third inning? I got Andor season 2 on deck

  13. This team is so beyond pathetic at this point! Good too see the empty seats continue. The Dewitt’s need to know they are failing a franchise and its fans. Sell the team
