Don't feel so bad that the Jay's lost 2. These A's are not to be messed with.
If the A's could have won 10 of the games they lost in their 1-20 run, they would be a 72-62, one game behind Houston and a half game ahead of Seattle, and currently a wild card team.

The A's look like a wild card team that just got some bad luck. A lot of games decided by 1 run. If the owner can get his head out of his rear and start paying/retaining these young stars, they will be FUN in Vegas. Kurtz, Langoliers, Soderstrom, and Wilson is a solid young core. No reason not to keep them all and build for the future.
