3. I was at this game & what a game & congratulations to Verlander on his 2nd win this season!! A huge ovation for Chapman on his 199 Career Home Run & hope he does it again tomorrow 8/27 to get his 200th 9:07! Let’s hope Carson Whisenhunt has the power tomorrow to win the series!! Great work boys & GO GIANTS!! 🧡💜👏🏻👏🏻

13. They should trade Justin Verlander. He’s too old to be pitching and his record is one and 10 I mean what kind of management is that?

14. Devers has been absolutely worthless. What looked like a decent trade when it was made may go down as one of the worst trades in Giants history. Today he hit into a double play, struck out, grounded out, and got a hit that was a bloop that was just out of the reach of the shortstop. And his grandmother could run down the line faster than he seems to be inclined to bother to do.

16. My first thought was I wish Devers would hussle to first, but on second thought, I'd rather see him not get injured on ground balls he's not going to beat out anyways.

19. Devers wants to be traded. He puts no effort in his base running. Mark my words, he'll be gone after the season is over. We need more starting pitching and more power hitting. A solid set-up reliever and an actual closer would be good too.

20. Since the trade with Devers the Giants runs have gone down per game and they are some where around 10 and 30 since his trade. Only a flare hit from Devers for one run.

23. For the most part, Devers hasn't been able to contribute to the offense. One reason might be that he is apparently unable to hustle to first base, which was on full display in this game. Remind me, how much is he getting paid!!!!!

26. Announcers said that Devers wasn't running hard down to first on his first at bat. I laugh because if he never seams to run hard on an in field hit. Always gets caught in double plays.

31. The more I watch Devers the more I think acquiring him was a huge mistake. In my book if a player doesn’t hustle the manager replaces him with someone who does.
