  1. I think it stays close for a majority of the game and we capitalize on a late mistake by the Jets in some fashion to pull away.

  3. I look at this game like I do every game – I can’t see a way we lose. And then I let reality surprise me.

    But seriously, how do we lose this?

  4. We out play the Jets across the board but typical ugly game with lots of mistakes and penalties that makes what should have been a blowout a one score win. Coming down to the last drive of the game.

    That’s my bet.

  6. Jets will run all over the Steelers who are working back into form after not playing much in the preseason.

    But their QB is Justin Fields and he does just enough to lose it for them.

  7. We put up 35 on the Jets last year with a worse roster but no one thinks we’ll score more than 23 this time?

  8. If this was Pitt across the board I would expect a loss. Gordon may have saved us with the Jets pick.

    I have no idea what to expect, but I’m hoping we put up more than 20, preferably closer to 30.

  21. I think it will be a way tighter game than the final score shows and we get the win because of the leg of Boz

  23. It’s going to come down to special teams. Also penalties and the turnover battle which I think the Steelers are at least better at 2 out of 3. Will definitely be a closer game than these predictions.

    I’m expecting 5 Boswell FGs. 15-13 Steelers.

  24. I keep thinking the season starts this week and then forget they add the extra week in between pre season and the regular season and I get sad again 🙁

  27. On paper the Steelers are the easy choice. But, the game isn’t played on paper.

  32. final score 17-13 id actually put money on it. Tons of 3 and outs tons of playing down to competition tons of ”who the fuck is that player on the jets catching 5 passes for 163 yards??? but we hold wilson to 1 catch” moments

  36. I hate when so many of them pick us to win. I love when no one picks us and we are the underdogs.

  40. I assume, based on this, that the Steelers will score 38. And also lose 45-38. Im a damaged fan though, so maybe dont trust me.

  42. I think the Steelers *should* win this game, but Rodgers has been bad in week 1 for the past few years, so I expect it to be a closer than it should be.
