  1. Why would Micah's agent allow Micah or any of his friends to say "He definitely wants to remain a Cowboy?" To say that is to give up negotiating leverage, and players do it all the time when they shouldn't. The attitude should be, "I'll take a trade. it doesn't matter who I play for," or better yet, just shut up and let ownership guess what he may or may not do. Or, at most, let JJ believe, if he asked Micah, that remaining a Cowboy carries a lot of weight, when it really doesn't. Then let your feet do the REAL talking. I'm not even a lawyer, much less a sports agent, much less a NFL agent, and I know better than what they let their players do, which is to open their mouths when they shouldn't. All Micah has done right is to direct JJ to his agent, AFTER a conversation that shouldn't have gotten as far as it did. Micah was not coached properly, in advance, by his agent. So much for Mr. Mulaletta (or whoever) being a crack negotiator. His time as an agent intern was incomplete.

  2. JJ looked at the team schedule and said, "Dang, I might as well start planning for the 2026 draft with Micah being great trade bait. Our playoff hopes with or without him is nil."

  3. He is not a Leader on the team. Micah appears to be a head case. Micah eat your PRIDE & EGO! Sign the contract. He will NEVER outwit Jerry, never. Jerry holds all the cards. He should be thankful he can make all this money and play in the NFL! This is a TEAM! Not About Micah! GO COWBOYS!
