  8. I think he'd make a fantastic backup center to Jurgens, so we don't have to have what happened with him and Dickerson playing hurt in the playoffs. I think he's definitely an upgrade over Kendall Lamm

  23. Murph Howie is running a Master Class on how to construct a football team. The 2025 Eagles are the 2nd youngest team in the NFL and the defense has the lowest salary of any defense and we have 20 million Dollars of Cap Space.

  26. My Mom was Born and Raised in Philidelphia. Though I am Californian. I was rooting for the Eagles when I was 5 years old.
    So many people miss that regardless of the "Big Splashes" Howie is constantly trying to upgrade. If we have a B player. He gets a B+ player.
    If we had a C player, he gets a B player.
    It's not always about getting the Best player.
    But is it a better player.
    Howell threw for 4,000 yards/with Dotson, in the NFL.He is only 25. That is BETTER than a 5th round Rookie.
    Bennett is Better than Ringo.
    Now would I love a splash? Sure.
    But anyone who has worked out knows.
    When you are near peak condition, you are going for incremental gains.
    It's not like the first time you ever worked out and you are 35% body fat.
    The Eagles are at 5% Body fat. Lean, Mean Machine

  29. I agree with you one Steen. My only issue is his consistency. He'll look like an All Pro but a drive later he'll look lost passing off his man. Week 1 will likely be alot of Osa and Fowler lining up over him or in the B gap to stress him out

  31. Thanks for the breakdown TB, you always have great insight. I was also an undersized center when I played ball, so you know I want to see him do well.

    Some people say that Lampkin has potential at fullback in addition to center. They already kept BVS on the roster at FB, and we know the coaching staff has stated they want to utilize FB this season.

    That skittish tendency you talked about goes a long way for IOL and it translates well to lead blocking. But I'm curious if you think Lampkin has the movement skills necessary to play FB.

  37. I like this roster a lot. Probably the deepest roster I've ever seen on a team, in any pro sport. It seems like a lot of this team's backup players could be starting players on other teams around the league. That's a beautiful thing. Go Birds!!!
