  1. Micah is a liability in the run game. Look at how Philly neutralized him! Look at how the Packers neutralized him.
    IF Jerry and Stephen actually use these likely mid-20s draft picks to IMPROVE the run game or o line this might set the foundation of another dominant offensive line .
    It's never going to be another "Hershel" trade but depending on WHAT they do to bolster the team going forward this trade may be a turning point.
    We shall see.

  6. Im devastated by the trade, but part of me saw it coming. Im trying to be optimistic about it and praying clark helps with the run defense, but idk if this defense has the "depth" to withstand this deal mainly bc it's a week before week 1. With micah i had us at a generous 10-7 without him i have to admit it could easily be another 7-10 season. That being said this offense has an opportunity to tap into a level of play that could put us into a complimentary style of football where our offense hides or saves the defense. Similar to how we played defensively with romo and dez etc etc. Shaky defense saved by a stellar run heavy play action pass game and schotty loves calling shit like that. Gotta hope and pray that 4 comes ready this year bc it just got 100 times more difficult. Our offense has to literally average 30 or more a game just to have a shot with this defense. Maybe im overreacting maybe some of the young guys will step up defensively and make this work. As a 27 year long cowboys fan thats never seen the boys win a chip before this was the toughest day to be a Cowboys fan in my lifetime. Im still in shock and having a hard time accepting this. I grew up in the stl area in Missouri and had the privilege of seeing zeke Elliott playbin high-school growing up and i remember him going off to ohio state and the eventually to the cowboys which was a great day for me seeing one of my childhood local area sports heroes go pro and to my favorite team and then eventually he was cut resigned years later and then cut again. The nfl stands for not for long.

  11. Fans gotta understand that there is a salary cap. There is no way we could pay Micah $47 million, Dak $60 million, CD $35 per year and have a roster that has actual depth throughout.

    Plus go look at Micah’s run stopping grades for the last few years per PFF. He was a “D” grade defender against the run. He is a once in a generation pass rusher but if your team can’t stop the run, it doesn’t matter how good you are at rushing the passer.

    The Cowboys weren’t gonna win the super bowl with him, at least now we have the draft capital and salary cap to resign players like Daron Bland and maybe even George Pickens if he balls out this year.

    I give the trade a “B” would be an A if we could have gotten another 2nd or 3rd rounder.

  13. Dallas Cowboy fans RELAX OK!! While MP is a hell of a player, he DOES NOT make our team better when it comes to what matters MOST: The PLAYOFFS where is was a DISMAL UTTER FAILURE!!! Micah Parson will virtually not show up in them and leave the Packers TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED! I totallly agree with this trade and I think we are MUCH BETTER OFF now as a team and a DEFINITE PLAYOFF AND SUPER BOWL CONTENDER! We will find someone even much than Micah in the 2026 draft and then Micah Parson will become AN AFTERTHOUGHT…. Go COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!

  17. How long will Kenny last though? The way things have gone for several years now with the cowboys, Kenny will be lost to injury in less than 5 games.

  18. From a packers fan, will definitely miss Clark, but, he wasn’t what he used to be. He doesn’t explode off the ball anymore and kind of plays lazy. He doesn’t get in the backfield as much as you would like and use strength to just fill the hole rather than disrupt the play. Also his snap count is going down drastically.

  19. I'm 50/50 on this trade, in all honesty. As a die-hard Cowboys fan, it could go either way, and I honestly hope that this helps the Cowboys stop the run. Was Micah going to stop the run? No, because he doesn't show up when it matters most. Does Kenny Clark stop the run? Yeah, he can because he has been in this league since 2016. This also helps the Cowboys in their cap room too at $42M to play with, and they could do a lot of things with it. They could re-sign most of their players with that cap room, and they can also go get another top-tier player in a trade. Preferably, I would go after someone like a Trey Hendrickson because he can stop the run and rush to the QB. The Cowboys have 4 1sts to play with in the next 2 years basically and as Jerry Jones said, we can turn those picks into pro bowlers. If I was Dallas, I would call up the Bengals and see what they want in Hendrickson and trade one of those 1sts you got for Micah and make that move. Overall though, I am still going to watch this team regardless because I am NOT delusional and I will NOT change my stance on this team. They HAVE to stop the run and Kenny Clark can do that.

  20. I appreciate those trying to make Micah’s deal seem unimportant but it’s going to come around and bite you. Week 4. Just wait. And Jerry will be okay as long as his feelings aren’t hurt.
