4. Here we go! Steelers place rookie QB Will Howard on IR and he's required to miss at least 4 weeks of practice/games before being eligible for a return to the active roster. By that time, Arod and Mason will be proven they are the INT kings with Skylar showing some potential of being a NFL starter. Steelers fans can only hope that Howard's return will be a welcoming sight. This is a OMEN of another disappointing season under Tomlin. If I am wrong, I'll be back after the season to congrats those who support a 41 year old QB who does not heal week to week, but month to month. This is one of the most stupidest moves under the Khan era yet. Mason should've been placed on practice squad or traded. He's proven time and time again that he's not a NFL caliber QB. When will Steelers comprehend common sense?

20. I really like the depth in the practice squad. There are guys in there that could legit be contributors at some point.

22. DEKE!!! We've kept 4 QBs before. Every team needs 4 QBs. As I mentioned before…2019… Ben gets hurt, Mason comes in, plays badly, and gets benched. If they had kept 3 on the roster, they would have been down to just 1 QB for the rest of the season? NO…they had "Duck" and Dobbs to go to. You can't keep 3 QBs in this league. You can easily lose your QB1 and 2 quite easily, as it's been proven in the past…especially if your QB1 is 41 and about to turn 42 soon. NOTE: As big a fan as I am of Mason, Skyler played far better this preseason than Mason did and earned the QB2 spot. Will Howard hasn't played at all, and he's still too much of a mystery as to how good he is at the NFL level. For right now…A-aron is QB1, Skyler is QB2, Mason is QB3, and Howard is QB4.
