the news spelled “attendance” wrong in this graphic. just bad all around
At least it probably smells a little better in there.
Only 18,000? Reinsdorf can only dream….
I said this when it was posted the other day. They aren’t the classiest or best fans in baseball. That being said, I am not going to shit talk anybody for not showing up to watch a bad product. Their owner is cheap and putting a mediocre product on the field. I wish more Cub fans would stay away when the product is terrible on the field but Wrigley draws regardless.
Honestly, since the 70s I’ve always respected their fan base. They seem to have high baseball knowledge. Maybe that’s why they aren’t going. They know a bad product when they see it. I love the Cubs and have been to literally hundreds of games, but there are always a lot of non baseball fans at Wrigley for the experience so they will continue to draw in tough times.
Start the Oliver Marmol extension talks.
ATTENDENCE

Maybe if Cubs fans took a page from this playbook things would be different for this team. Cheapo Ricketts needs a wake up call.

Yep, that is sad. A day at the ballpark is a wonderful time.
Best fans in baseball folks.
America’s team sure didnt last long lol
I mean….18K is still more than some other teams. Yeesh.
Say what you will about how boring and trite St. Louis is, but they definitely have the fairest of weather.
At least they can show their disapproval with their wallets, we’d sell 18K just to tourists and corporations alone
St Louis is boring.
The commercial that showed just after was for stuck poop.
Worst state in the country, worst sports fans ever.
