  2. Can anyone imagine a world where McDavid plays against Ben's favorite team? I can't. His heart is in Edmonton in one thousand and one different ways.

  7. 2 things. 1st: I had no clue Marek had a full sleeve tattoo. 2nd: You guys are right about the whole McDavid extension. Oiler fans all kind of know its going to happen, it's the outside noise that think he's singing somewhere else. Maybe he does, I highly doubt it though. He has way too much of a good thing in Edmonton right now. Truthfully, I didnt think Draisaitl was going to re-sign, yet he shocked me and signed an 8 year extension. I feel more confident that McDavid will re-sign than Draisaitl. Let the man enjoy his summer and when he comes back to Edmonton, I'm sure the contract will get done. Plus look at all the other big name free agents that haven't signed yet either. (EIchel, Panarin, Kaprizov, etc.)

  9. Total cope here honestly you guys didn’t address any valid reasons why he would consider leaving.

    The team has overspent and cannot afford to contend anymore. For example, oilers can’t afford a good goaltender. Mcdavid will not win the cup with the oilers. That is why people think he will consider resigning.

  10. the real questions for this guy are; why did he ship out all the speed & youth (kesselring, broberg, holloway, mcLeod, foegelle etc..)
    – to pay Arvidsson, jSkinner, mJones, Henrique, jBrown, Dineen, tDermott & this tFrederic contract looks very bad… so have never given McD or Drais a sniper.. PP & SH getting weaker…
    Team is fun for sure & support them… just the mgt seem to never face accountability.. a good place for has-beens to coast & get big pay..
