  1. In all honesty, I have been so pleased by the progress made by Kwesi A-M since his first draft, his ability to 'play 3-D Chess', his scouting department, AND I've been so impressed by KOC & the rest of the coaching staff, that I am quite confident that they all know what they're doing with the roster.

  2. no,…..you could not "just hold the ball.

    Closely Guarded Violation (1931)

    What it is:

When an offensive player with the ball is guarded within 6 feet by a defender, they have five seconds to either pass, shoot, or dribble the ball.

    Consequence:

If the player fails to do any of these actions within the five-second timeframe, a 5-second violation is called, and possession is awarded to the other team.

    When it starts:

The count begins when the ball is caught and a defender is within a close distance.

  3. There's only 53 slots. If one position is light, it means another position is heavy. It might mean they have less confidence in the heavy position, OR too much talent there to let go. But they don't go light on a position without cause….

  4. They have 5 safeties and 9 DBs overall. Most teams carry 9. It is usually 4 safety and 5 CB.

Thomas is a DB and could play both spots. Also, Vikings run 3 safeties a lot.

So, 4 guys designated as CB is fine. They have 9 DB.
