I know this is Lithuania not Latvia but Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania basically all have the same exact culture with minor differences.

Linas Kleiza, ex nba player, now the head of ltu team, identified a fan or two to the security, and they got escorted immediately. Lithuanian ball federation has already sent an apology to German federation. This was taken care off quickly and swiftly.
edit: Kleiza went with security and gave a fatherly speech to “perpetrators”. They left the arena with heads down like little kids who got scolded by their dad. This was reported by fan who sat nearby. He added that 99.9999% of Lithuanian fans was acting amazing, just these bad apples were idiots.

Its not uncommon in the US to go into houses right next to each other where the parents don’t speak English, where they have very different food, customs, political views, economics, etc.
