Toronto Raptors 2025 Summer League Highlights

Jacobe Walter for three. He gets the first bucket of the game. Good job by Walter. Stepped into that three. That’s not an easy shot. Shed inside throwing it down. Friends and teammates of Scotty Barnes. That’s why he’s up cheering on his guy. Bazelle is denied by Castleton. And Castleton, you hear the claps. That is mostly Scotty Barnes of his professional career. Galamara tossing it up and then it’s stolen by Mo. Raptors got numbers the other way. Shamshay with the throw down. Shed. Lots of bodies around him, but he gets it to Paul. But outside of that, it’s been a struggle. Oh, not struggling at all. Taking it quite the Raptors on top. You know, with some of the uncertainty of what our roster and team may look like after the All-Star break. I think those guys all and a steal by Jacobe Walter. Take flight. [Music] Cmore is a little taller. Shed kicking it out to Martin. Pazelis challenges, but Martin with the lefty floater over the outstretched hand. They’re back in the zone. Walter attacking. Mo kicks it out in the corner. Cashing out is Battle. Two for 10 from the field. Battle bucket. He has played a solid game. Jameson Battle has 13 points, 10 in that first half. And the Bulls forcing a turnover, but Walter gets it back. Castle tossing it up. Momo throwing it down. But the steal by Lawson as they try to pass it back. Walter the reverse. Count it and one. Lawson corraling the offensive rebound. Shamshay. Nice touch by the young man pushing it the other way. Raptors love to push the pace. Lawson so hot he could heat the sun up. Giddy getting able to spread his wings like Bobo has in this game. Another alley throwd down. his third alleyoop caught here in the fourth quarter. [Applause] Finds Martin and gets the assist. Shot. The Raptors, you know, the pedigree is one thing. What they did on the floor Friday is another. They beat the Bulls 116-72. And they’re off to a hot start again as Battle strokes a three. He was better than 40% last season as a rookie. But what do you know about their personalities and how similar those are? as Mo throws it down with two hands. He is a peer winner. Anybody wants to see the human side of him, Google Jamal Shad after Alabama post game. AJ Lawson for three and a chance at a four-point play. Murray Boils right back to the point guard. Mismatch against the seven-footer Kyler Kelly in the corner. It’s Lawson. Just hit one from over there. Make it two in a row. Losing five in the first round, but they got you. And if they can get some help, Moore ends up with it. He’s triple teamed and Jamal Shed says, “Give me that.” Ahead to Walter like a receiver ahead of the pack for the jam. Jamal Shed’s a great example of a guy maybe who doesn’t have the measurables that you’re looking for as Murray Boils with a rejection, but he’s just a winner. He’s just a good basketball player and he’s he’s going to be a leader for them. How about Murray Boils? The block on one end and the follow stuff on the other. Met his mom. Tristan speaks three languages. Plays the trumpet. There’s Shay with the steal and the score. That is a nice play for Shay. Kelly with another turnover. Murray Boils deflected it. AJ Lawson lays it in and one. [Music] He wants to get to his shot. He does and drills it. He had some great teams, but you know, whether it’s a matchup going your way or, you know, having injury, shed with five to shoot, pulls it back, rips it, hits it. Nice. Shot is so much quicker. Gets a three for battle. He can really shoot and it’s a quick release and he’s added side steps and the shot fake. Chucky Hearn is in the game. He got left alone for a three. That’s too easy. He’s fun to watch because he never takes a play off defensively. Walter the side step three money. Nice. That’s good. D and Shay with the close out to Holmes helping in the paint. Great close out. Now Walter doesn’t wait to take the last shot. Fires it. Sticks another. Clearly loves basketball. There’s just a viral clip of him from ACC Network with West Durham where he said he charted all of the shots in the movie Hooers, specifically Jimmy Chickwood. Even though Denver has just four assists and 10 turnovers. AJ Lawson for three. That’ll get you going. Shamsh screen. Shed again penetrates and scores it. Plus one. Good play. Great great uh hesitation by there in Toronto. Holmes was blocked. Murray Boils got a piece now in a tie game. The Raptors have not led yet. Murray Boils for three. There you go. Feet were set. It’ll be really interesting to see how this Raptors rotation unfolds as Walter line drive three goes. Nuggets have turned it over 16 times. Raptors with 16 straight points. Come on, AJ Lawson. The birthday boy. What a play. Good choice. Keeps his eyes up. Walter for three. Got it. No shot clock reset. Elijah Martin. It’s a three. Offensive rebound. Lawson, the birthday boy. Oh yeah. High arching shot. He’s got great release point. Shoots at the top of his jump. Puts good arc on it. Don’t let them just run the offense that they want. That low gathering the finish. That is a nifty move. Really good. He’s got such great hands. Nice pass. Oh, bait rejected by Shamshi. I think everybody forgot he came in. Oh, what a play. Show us what you got. Great drive and pass. Beakman. The steal for Denver. Bates was blocked by Shed. [Music] Boils slashing down the lane. Under control with the finish. Jamal Shed off the transition screen. Pocket pass. Murray Boils with the left. In March, he made 10 threes in a G-League game. A careerhigh 44 points. Murray Boils with a critical answer. There’s there’s a lot of health issues and what is with a lot of teams. Again, we like the identity of the Raptors. [Music] Full head of steam. AJ Lawson finds Murray Boils who lets the traffic clear. He’s really patient when he gets the ball in there. There’s a couple times we’ve seen it where he is pump faking. Now a steal and the lead. This is Lawson again. battle running the floor and laying it in. He comes to get it. 10 to shoot. Lawson on the relocation three. Rick Core. There it is for AJ Lawson. And that’s some saying something when you got as many fouls called as we’ve seen. Yeah, they heard you were counting on the cut the reverse. I say you foul. Why not get me to 60? I was just about to say what it may have lacked in style. It had plenty of substance. Offensive rebound. Murray Boils underneath spinning. Goes to the left hand. Pretty move. Here’s Walter. First round pick last year. 19th overall. Backto back threes for Jacobe Walter. Well, fortunately for the Kings, they’ve really been able to build this lead without having a strong performance from Nick Clifford who has spent the majority of this game in foul trouble. Elijah Martin able to hit. the Raptors want to bring into their organization alongside Jamal Shed. As Shed gets another bucket should be able to establish Austin Reeves, allow him to becoming more of a score. George and Elijah Martin has been able to stand the test as well. Turn another turnover. Bobo with the slam. Got the deflection on one end. Elijah Martin going up strong and putting it in. Right now, if you’re the Raptors, you don’t need to be in any rush. Allow your teammates to rest just a little bit on the offensive end. And Jamal Shed does that by knocking down a huge three.

  1. Our defence was suffocating – you can probably put together a 10min compilation of defence alone. Give this group another year to build chemistry on the offensive end, we'll go from dangerous to lethal.

  2. Let’s go
I’ve never been so hyped for a raptors season. And I’m 41, been around since 95. In most excited to see the growth of the young guys.
