We have a lot of action lined up for the week ahead. We got Major League Baseball on the board. We’ve got WNBA action as well. Uh we got week one college football and we’re going to have week one NFL too just around the bends. So make sure that you jump on with me. Uh we’ve had a lot of success there and um we started the college football season right too. It was 2 and 0 to start the college football season on the premium side on Thursday. So, make sure that you jump on and use that promo code pick. Get 15% off your purchase. But let’s get to this one between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Dodgers sending out Tyler Glass now for the start in this one while the Diamondbacks will counter with Eduardo Rodriguez. And uh you know thing about Eduardo Rodriguez is that he’s been a pitcher that I’ve openly tried to fade for much of the season. I do think he still has, you know, decent stuff when when he’s on point, but he hasn’t necessarily had that in some of his recent outings. I mean, he’s given up five runs in his last start on the road against Milwaukee. He’s given up four or more runs in back-to-back starts, nine runs in nine innings across his last two starts. Four or more runs in four of his last six starts over the last month. So, he’s just getting hit hard. in the last four starts he’s had against the Dodgers going back to the 2022 season. We’ve seen Rodriguez give up, you know, a ton of runs. He’s got a 7.66 ERA in his last seven start, excuse me, last five starts against the Dodgers. And his lone start against the Dodgers this season saw Rodriguez give up eight runs, six earned on nine hits over just two and two/3s back on May 9th in what ended up being a 14-11 win for the Los Angeles Dodgers in that game. And yeah, I just don’t think that Rodriguez is going to have the best amount of luck here against the Dodgers lineup that has been at times fairly solid when it comes to hitting against left-handed pitching. You look at their numbers in the last two weeks against lefties. The Dodgers hitting 260. Their team OPS numbers are around league average. The isolated power numbers above league average. So, I think they can do damage off of Rodriguez here. On the other side, you got the Diamondbacks going up against glass now. And you know, historically, the Diamondbacks this season have still been fairly solid against right-handed pitching, but as of late, you know, they’re still hitting just 238. The team OPS numbers are, you know, just outside the bottom five. The isolated power numbers are bottom five as well. 25% strikeout rate. I think this is a game for Tyler Glass now to rack up the strikeouts. I think he can really hold down this Arizona Diamondbacks lineup here. And I think the Dodgers starting to heat up at just the right time. So, I’m going to roll with the Dodgers in this one. Had a strong start from glass. Now, hand it over to that Dodger bullpen and win this game on the run line. So, give me the Dodgers here minus the one and a half runs and that’s going to be my free pick.
