San Diego Padres vs Minnesota Twins – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | August 30, 2025 MLB Season

Fast ball. If it’s up, jump on it. Up and in there to Fernando at 98 and underway in Minneapolis. It did not go well for him. And a leadoff walk here to Fernando in the top of the first inning as Tatis continues to show great plate discipline. Now the former twin Luis Arise tries to bunt towards Lewis and the Padres’s with yet another sacrifice. They have done that. Two on and one out for Ryan O’Harn. And a check swing roller right out to shortstop. Lee’s got only one play and just in time at first base. Two down and Lauriano lines that one up the middle but caught by Khaw and the inning is over. Hard hit off the mound. Cronworth right there. Nice play by Jacob and one down in the top of the first inning. A lot more steals since the trade deadline. There’s your ground ball right to a glacius. A one and out of time. 40 minutes from target field. Got it picked off. Or Herm’s throw is a little bit off target and Glacius could not get the tag down. Yeah, the throw looked offline. Once again, a huge jump. Huge jump. Out on one and two. And that is right there for strike three called. Came back with the heater. Froze Walner. And we’ll head to the second. No score. tried to check on the breaking ball and he could not. First strike out of the night for Taj Bradley, pops that one up off the handle and Cody Clemens there to make the catch. Two down. Diaz out to right field and routine for Walner as the inning is over. Another walk, another guy left on base. No score in the second. There’s a rocket to strike him out and two down in the second. And quick work made by Paveta. Backto back case and a one, two, three. Bottom of the second. Got him. Another splitter there. Second strike out of the night for Bradley. Arise the other direction and Outman catch running forward. Two down here in the third. right here. And a swing and a miss. Good curve and a second strike out of the inning for Bradley who works a one, two, three. There he goes. Throw from Diaz. Not in time. I was just about to say ahead of Arnick and that is on the ground but through right field and a base hit. Outman will be on his way. Fernando comes up firing and not in time. Twins take a one- nothing lead here in the bottom of the third inning. Keallaw in the air to center field. Lauraniano going to square it up, get behind it. Duckton will tag and two down here in the bottom of the third inning. Waller in the air very high to right center field. Lauraniano and Tatis there. And Fernando will make the catch to end the inning. O’Harn came back to work at full, but he can’t connect with that cutter. And now four strikeouts for Bradley. One out. I I just think this game of baseball, there’s so many games and you hit teams when they’re hot, when they’re not. There’s a lot of variables, right? Three straight strikeouts now for Bradley. Sends that one out towards right center field. And what a catch by Byron Buckton. Looked like Sheets might have the first hit of the night for the Padres’s, but the buck drop came full speed. I’m not saying Nick Fett is like that, but when you see his intensity, you want to play hard behind him. Does that make sense? No messing up there from Croninworth. Nicely done. Got him. Veta with a 1, two, three, fourth. And he caps it with a K. I want Vikings pillowcases. Todd Bradley on some kind of roll. Padres’s looking for their first hit of the night. And how about that? Alias Diaz to deep left field. Not only the first hit, but a tie game 1-1. Seventh of the year for the catcher. Fernando tied up there and he’ll strike out to end the inning. Buckton after the first pitch in the air to deep right field. Fernando is back. This one going to go. Opposite field shot for Buckton. His 28th of the season. And the Twins go back ahead. It’s three to one. [Music] [Applause] Goes after the first pitch curve ball and Raone Lauraniano able to make the catch to end the inning. Lauraniano hits it hard and into left center. A base hit. Arise is on his way home. He’ll come in to score. The throw to third. No shot to get Manny. And into second base goes Lauraniano. It’s a one-run game here in the sixth. Sixth pitch of the atbat to Gavin Sheets and Sheets in it through the right side and a base hit. Machado will score to tie it. Gloriano is held as the throw comes into the cut off man and it is a 33 game here in the sixth. Glaciius kind of pops it into shallow right field. Walner with the big arm comes in. He makes the catch. Hard hit up the middle and caught by Keshaw to end it. Stung by Elias Diaz. Very few surprises. Yeah. Muscled in the air to shallow center field. Long way to go. Raone Lauraniano gets there and he made the catch and Arise hits it through the right side. A base hit. Fernando going to go first to third. No problem even with Walder’s great arm. And the Padres’s are all set up. Runners on the corners. Amachado bangs it through the left side. A base hit. Tatis will come in to score. And for the first time tonight, the Padres’s lead. It’s four to three. And that’s on a line out to left center field. Arise on his way home from third. He’ll score. The throw goes to second base. And a fourth straight base hit to begin the seventh inning has put the Padres’s up 5-3. They’ve chased Ael now facing Krisky and sheets slines it into right field of base hit. Manny will trot home and a six-3 Padre lead here in the seventh. Five hits this inning for the Padres’s. They have passed the baton and now a Glaciius to deep left field. Alman gets there to make a nice catch up against the fence and two away as the runners retreat. Runners go and Cronorth to left field. Almond is back. He is at the wall and he can’t make the catch. Both runs going to come in to score as Cronorth into second base and the Padres’s have busted it open. Eight to three here in the seventh. That’s another high splitter up and away. And Jake does a great job taking it that way. He’s flirting with the flowers out there and Outman. What an effort off the top of the wall. It’s that one in the air to deep left field. Another shot for Outman. It’ll be over his head and gone. A home run for Diaz. His second of the night. But over the long haul, Manny on the ground at third base. That will end it as Lewis throws him out. But 12 Padres’s come to bat here in the seventh. Um, Broccoli. There you go. It just got it just I just I just realized it. Pops him up. That’s a home run in a phone booth. Manny will squeeze it and he is out. Very good distance between themselves and the Twins here as they bat in the eighth. And Lauriano steps into one. That’s out to deep left center field and Lauriano leaves the yard. How about another two-run shot here in the eighth. 22nd of the year for Lauriano, his seventh as a Padre. And they pour it on 12-3. Wagner. Oh, how about Cabrera? Nicely done to end the inning as a 30-year-old a major league debut. Strikes out here against Jeremiah Estrada, though. And one down in the bottom of the eighth d and a hard hit one hopper off the mound handled by McCoy and a nice play to end the bottom of the eighth inning. McCoy steps into it. Sends it in the air to center field pretty deep. Outman is there though and two down in the ninth. O’Harn waited on it. Shoots it in the air to center field. Outman is back all the way to the track and he’s got room to make the catch and into a one two three inning for Ryan Fitzgerald. That’s it. That is it. And foul ground squeezes it for the first out here of the night. Stand in 0 for three thanks in part Lauriano made a great catch on him his last time up and this time a little bit more routine to center field and it’s Bryce Johnson. Two and two the big show. You don’t want to miss it. popped him up and it will be Croninworth calling off Wagner to make the catch. And a one two three ninth inning for Alec Jacob as the Padres’s roll over the Twins here tonight by a final of 12-3.
