He reaches right here. A line drive base hit to right. Freley is going to come around and score. And the rookie gives Atlanta the lead in the 10th. 43,462 and a lot of eyeballs still on this game. The Phillies win it three-2 here in the bottom of the 10th inning. They’ve won three in a row against the Atlanta Braves. He had allowed three earned runs in his previous 46 first innings. He allowed five earned runs in the first inning today. The Marlins had three and leaded 8-2 middle of the third. The Mets have Homer for a third time today. They make it a two-run game as the Miami lead is down to 86. And he rips one to deep right field. Back goes Wemer. It’s over his head and out of hair. A tying home run by Sudo. A line shot into the bullpen. His second of the day. And the Mets have come from six runs down to get even. Banking on Norby here to find a way to get that runner in from third in the air to right field. This is going to work. Ramirez will tag and score from third. The Marlins lead 9 to8 here in the seventh. So first and second with one out. Here’s Connor Norby. That’s in the air to left center field. That’s going to get down for a base hit and more. No throw. Machado will score to tie it and it is a three game here in the sixth. So rise at first. Tatis at third. Nobody out and Manny Machado will be the batter. And Machado bangs it through the left side. A base hit. Tatis will come in to score. And for the first time tonight, the Padres’s lead. It’s that one in the air to deep left field. Another shot for Outman. It’ll be over his head and gone. Asios running to the first pitch, guys wanted a deep left field and can’t catch it. It’s gone. His first major league home run and it gives Baltimore a 5 to1 lead. And here’s Michael Helman who came up inches shy of a two home run game last night as Helman strokes one up the alley left center field. That’s trouble. It is down for extra bases. Michael Helman delivers again a two-run double. Homers for the A’s make it a four to2 game through three innings of play. Here’s Wyatt Langford facing Barnett for a third time. And that one is cranked to left field. Cortez backtrack wall. That one is out of here. Wyatt Langford leaves the yard. A 20 home run campaign for Wyatt. It just gets out and the Rangers lead 5-2. We’ll see how fast a learner Nathan Church is. He saw it for the very first time in that third inning strikeout. Sharply hit and throw. It’s a base hit and the Cardinals are going to take the lead. Church with a two strike hit and the Cardinals cash in a couple of walks in the inning and have a 2-1 lead. Swing and a drive hammer deep left. That’ll get you out of the rut.
