Real reason Micah and Cowboys parted
Well, good evening good people. Mark Holmes here and as always I want to say thank you all for watching, commenting, subscribing, and being part of the Joe Boo Sports Report. Without you guys, as well as you ladies, you know that this literally does not work. Hope everybody’s having a great day. Um, we did our members live stream show um, today because we had to change it up because next Sunday is a full slate of games and we ended up doing uh, shoots two and a half hours today and we’re going to go ahead and do one tomorrow as the end of the off season and especially because it’s Eagles hate week. I have to say, man, the Eagle fans, man, they fired up. They are Oh my god. Listen, Leo brought in Eugene, who’s a Raven fan, and some young 26 year old. 20 26 years old. I didn’t live that fool’s life, not once, but twice. And then add on another eight years. Okay, he’s still wet behind the ears and just coming in blowing all this smoke and all this energy and stuff. Come on, dude. Slow your roll. Here’s the craziest thing. They tell you, “You suck. You’re stupid. Micah Parson’s gone. You got no chance in hell.” And I said, “Well, what happens if we end up?” Well, it’s just our ring ceremony. This game don’t mean nothing. You know, if we lose, it doesn’t mean anything. What? Okay. Okay. All right. I hear you. So, we will be doing another one tomorrow, 5:00. Uh, I got to get up early in the morning, get working cuz I’m working on redoing the deck and getting the house together. Uh, kids are all helping us. We’re cleaning and straightening and, you know, dusting stuff. Look, the dusty old trophies are definitely extra dusty right now after last season. But anyway, we are still dealing with the Micah Parsons fallout and trying to figure out what happened. Okay, you know, we’re taking a lot of hits that the Cowboys, they’re stupid, you know, generational talent and things like that and they got rid of them. But we’ve been hearing a few things. We heard that the podcast, this came out yesterday, that the podcast was kind of bothering some people all the way up to Dak Prescott. And I said, “Oh, great. Here we go. We’re going to blame Dak Prescott for this.” But when you start putting together some of the things that have transpired for about the last since the Green Bay game, there’s a lot of things that you start putting together and saying, “Wait a minute.” You know, one thing by itself, it’s like, “Okay, no big deal.” But then when you start really looking at all these things and putting together, it kind of builds a case that maybe there was a whole lot of friction. Now we know Daw and Micah did not get along. Now the Cowboys moved on from Daw. I’m not saying that that’s the worst thing cuz he was getting older. He’s staying more injured. He’s really expensive and so forth. And you drafted a guy like Marshon Neland, which is the next generation. Immediately when that happened, basically Micah Parsons was partying. Yeah, it’s not, you know, now it’s my turn to be the leader. And we all looked at said, “Yeah, we got rid of Daw. Get that bum out of here. We got Micah is in charge.” But then think back to when the story came out in 1053, the fan. Shout out to them, R.J. and Sean. They were talking about inside the building that some of the people in the offices were getting tired of Micah Parson’s stick. Now, we didn’t there was no elaboration exactly what that was. And we’re like, “Come on, man. Look, dude’s getting sacks left and right and stuff. Okay, now I have gone through because people have always talked about saying Micah Parsons, you know, doesn’t uh play well against the run. Incredible pass rusher and stuff. I’ve always said we don’t know what the scheme is set up for. It may be one of those things that the defensive coordinator says, “Look, Micah, you are fantastic at rushing the quarterback. What I want you to do is forget the run. I just want you to go up field and and rake havoc in the back field. And when you do that, you leave cut back lanes. Okay? And I’m not trying to say Micah Parson. Micah Parsons is an incredible player. Incredible. But that may be what we are actually hearing from players because I I tell you from my own personal experience. I remember, okay, I know, listen, I played J, you know, football at JMU, okay? I remember we had a JV scrimmage and I remember it was fourth down and one and I ended up as a nose guard. I shot the gap. I was fast. I was smaller. I was quick. I took a jab step and I shot that gap. Got up field, tackled the running back five yards behind the line scrimmage. I literally was right in the quarterback’s, you know, hip pocket chasing him as he’s going back to do the handoff. And as soon as the guy got the ball, boom. And I’m feeling great because I stopped him. And I get on the sideline and the coach reads me the riot act because he’s like, “What the hell are you doing?” I said, “I’m stopping on fourth down. What you mean? What am I doing?” He said, “That’s not your job. Your job is to occupy the center and take on double teams and keep your linebackers clean. When you showboat, you’re messing up the defense and the linebackers because now they’re getting hit by the guards in the center. But I’m like, coach, but I made the tackle. Look, I stopped them. You said you did this time, but that’s not how the system works. And if you showboat, you mess it up for everybody. The times you’re successful are going to be a lot less than times that you screw up the defense. Whoa. Enter Micah Parsons. And again, this is speculation. I’m I’m not saying that this is the case, but Micah Parsons likes to get those sacks. He likes to get those pressures. not so much getting the runs. Every time that ball is snapped, Micah Parsons is affected because he’s up field right now with that speed, but then there’s the cutback lanes. Okay. So, I remember after the Green Bay game, the Green Bay game that changed everything, the Green Bay game, I remember Micah Parsons at the Super Bowl or or somewhere he was talking and I don’t know if it was his podcast or what, but he was going through and he was talking about all the mental mistakes and things like that. You know, you can’t jump off sides and you can’t get past interference and things like that. And it’s like, yeah, you’re right. You can’t do those things. But you are supposed to be our generational talented player. You had two total tackles, one solo, one assist. Cedric Goldston had four tackles. Jonathan Ankods had four tackles. Everybody had more tackles than you. and you’re supposed to be the leader and you’re throwing under others under the bus. Now, let’s watch this clip here. Okay, let’s watch this clip. This is again, this is the Baltimore Ravens game. Baltimore Ravens game where we gave up a couple of touch a couple of scores in like the last nine minutes of the game and Micah is literally going off on the sidelines. Micah Parsons, what’s this all about? Right now we got people just trying to be Superman. Right now it’s just not in unison. I don’t feel like you see everybody on the sideline there looking at him another grown man like he’s like he’s crazy at some point they got to take it within ourselves. So every day within ourselves we got to say did we get better? Did I get better today? I can’t talk faces. Swag. Um the the look on the faces of the gentleman speaking on the field. I I I can imagine it gets heated. You’re in the arena and you’re getting embarrassed. They made it close late, but what in your estimation is going on on the that side of the ball in Dallas right now. Lot of lot of questions. 19 points in the final nine minutes. When you have players talking about everybody just need to do their job. All we’ve heard all this before. It’s the cliche terms of we getting our ass whipped consistently. That’s what they mean. like and and two, when you get to the sideline and you start talking about who’s doing what and and I would I would have loved for Micah not to even mention guys are trying to be Superman. I think that’s always something that you leave for the locker room and you have that discussion with your team because now it it it separates, right? The player that’s saying that, you got to go look at film, too. And there’s some plays on film with Michael that did that didn’t look well and didn’t fit what what they’re probably trying to do defensively. I just I I think right now see and I’ve been a part of of of of locker rooms where when you can’t get the run stop and you feel like you’re being physically brutalized it turns into finger pointing. Yeah. And if you ask any coach, any player in any organization, when fingerpoints start happening, you on your way out of there, boss Jason, when you start pushing them, when you start pushing them and they can’t stop you, that has to be the most question like that. Yeah. I’m just asking that. Well, he was smiling. There’s nothing more I love than pushing it on another grown man and just taking it over. Yes, Scott, you are ab okay. I’m just saying that here it was everybody on the team is over here. Micah Parsons is going off on the sideline. Not saying that that’s a bad thing on the sideline, but then you go and throw everybody under the bus to the media. People are out here playing hero ball. Okay, so let’s check out another clip. This is Malik Hooker um who was on a on uh on a podcast and they asked him thoughts of Micah Parson’s players podcast. Problem with it. My thing would be though uh for Micah, my advice would be for Micah would be, you know, just make sure we’re all right. you know, well, and being where your feet are because if we’re at work and you know, the run game’s terrible, but you’re doing a podcast every week and you know the run game is terrible, then you know what are you really caring about? Are you caring about the crowd that you know is watching your podcast? Are you caring about the success of our team and the Super Bowl that we’re trying to reach? See what I’m saying? So, I have a problem with him. Okay. So, we know Malik Hooker, we know DAW, and we know people in the organization were kind of tired of some of it. Now, I have to say this was the one that I I and I I said there was Micah Parsons before the injury and Micah Parsons after the injury. It seemed like after he got injured, he got brought back down to earth. Okay. And things kind of changed. But watching his podcast before that where he’s, you know, trying to be all world and bringing on like big place slay. So I want you to understand we got beat 41-9 by the Lions on Sunday. Excuse me. We got beat 41 to9 on Sunday by the Lions. This was a If you actually watch the whole thing, you know the way they’re yucking it up and laughing. Now, keep in mind Michael Parsons was injured. So, he wasn’t out there doing battle with his teammates. Let’s go to the tape. But yeah, man. The most getting involved. I just want people to know that we are human. That’s it. You know what I’m saying? We human. And that’s what’s makes it difficult out here. We know. We want wish we could be superheroes but we ain’t. We all human though. I know bro I bro we be trying to be super human too often and that could be our you know our greatest mistake because we believe especially you you know what I’m saying a lot of success leave believe myself we believe we can make every play and people don’t get that. They be like no you got to wait on your play. I said every play is my play. I can make every play. Like I I believe I’m better than the man in front of me right now. Like he can’t stop me from doing what I’m doing right now. Like that. And that’s just me. That’s my mindset, bro. And you know, and it be like that, bro. And did you get a chance to watch our game? Yeah. You know, I did. Of course I did. Soon as I got to the crib, I watched the game. You know what I’m saying? You know, I’m a, you know, I’m a fellow Lion, too, as well. So, you know, you know, I rooted for them. You know what I’m saying? I’m a Detroit Lion, too. So, uh, they the one, you know, helped me change my life, you know. So, uh, watch them play y’all and spank on y’all. I was pretty happy. So, you don’t got no bad blood with Detroit? Watch some spank on. Oh, no, man. And the city of Detroit got nothing but love, man. You know, I had bad blood with but me and that guy too is we on better terms as well. So, uh, but the city of Detroit, no sir, they did they did a lot of love, a lot of justice. They let me come into their high schools, talk to their programs. You know, I met a lot of kids. I met Avonte, you know. I watched your boy Lewis Jordan in high school, watch him play ball his senior year. Uh, uh, Vonte Mad Sauce. Went to Sauce. You know, I went all them guys was come out there, you know, hang out with me and work out with me for a little bit when I was in Detroit. That’s so dope, bro. Yeah, man. I think so far what I’ve seen, bro, Detroit is such an underrated fan base because obviously they had some real rough times, but right now as they’re winning and they’re getting back on the train, the fan base is, you know, bigger than ever, stronger than ever, booming. Yeah, I I you know, I haven’t seen too many people’s fans take over AT&T, but I would say there were some blue stands and it wasn’t ours. Uh, it was it was like like that. Like it was the whole It’s crazy. Yeah, they they moved seats up and everything. They had Oh, bro. It was Look, Detroit got We got Detroit lowkey got beef with y’all because back in 2014 when we came there in the playoffs, you know, Dez Bryan did that little cheating jump coming on the field. We got a penalty called on us. We could have got the PI and really won the first Detroit playoff game in like 20 something years in 2014. We was rocking then. I think it was like 11 and five or something. And uh and ever since then, that’s the reason I ain’t like Dallas because they cheated us in the playoffs. I mean, Dallas been cheated plenty of times. So, I I don’t even feel bad for that. Dez, that was a catch. If you going to bring Dez up, that was a catch. We should have been in championship game then. That was a catch. Should have made it to that that round though. Y’all shouldn’t have made it to that round. We would have won. N So, you just saying Karma hit us Karma hit us right back. Karma hit y’all right back. Come on, bro. You got right back, man. You gota stop that. Heck no. He did. No, ain’t no way. You know, I I thought it was a catch, too. I gave him a catch. You know what I’m saying? I was like, that’s a catch, bro. They can’t cheat, man. Like, that was a hard earned catch. But, uh, karma catch back. Nah. No, that that was a catch, bro. I mean, okay. So, and I invite you actually, well, I I don’t want to do the whole thing, but the whole way it started out laughing up and partying everything else. Keep in mind that we lost on Sunday. this is Tuesday and the next day you’ve got practice and so you sit here and you’re sitting there and it’s like yo dude we just got our teeth kicked in 41-7 and you’re up here with big play slay an eagle player you couldn’t play laughing it up after we got our ass kicked I’d feel like yo I mean let’s Say you’re married and your wife has got like an exboyfriend or something or other and they’re going to a comedy club here. You’d be like, “What the fuck?” So, these are a few instances that we look at and say, “Yeah, maybe the podcast was.” Cuz I know I kept saying, “This is ridiculous. I hated to see this. It’s like you’re out injured and you’re sitting here fratonizing with the enemy when we just got our teeth kicked in. You’re throwing your teammates under the bus and, you know, basically saying, you know, you guys I I can’t be telling a grown man what he’s wait a minute. There’s nothing wrong with correcting your teammates and trying to motivate them, but you don’t do that in public. And I can see where this could get to be a problem. And then you start looking at the Cowboys at what they were trying to do. They, you know, they said to them, “We want you to be more of a leader on the team.” And I think I’m beginning to understand what Jerry Jones was talking about last year with CD Lamb. We want to see more leaves fall off the tree. And by that, he was kind of like, you know, CD kind of checked out that game. He checked out a bit and, you know, he needed to kind of grow up. And that’s what Jerry Jones say. I need to see more leaves off the tree. And what it may be is he’s trying to see the maturity of them. And I think in the same way he was saying to Micah Parsons, I need to see you being more of a leader. You know, we need to fix what’s going on in the locker room because, you know, if you’re sitting here, look at this jackass man. You know, he’s getting all the publicity. He’s got his damn podcast. He’s getting all the money and everything else and he’s basically selling us down the river and putting the blame on us. That causes a problem in the locker room. And one thing that Brian Shanheimer said that he wanted is he wanted team leaders. He wanted guys that were good teammates. And maybe this is where Brian Shanimer said, “Yeah, this is not one that I necessarily want to have. We can take what we have with Micah. We got $38 million of money we could spend. We got a couple extra draft picks and we can work on trying to get this thing in a better situation. So, that’s all I have to say about that. You, if you want to tell me I’m an idiot and that the Joneses are just stupid, that’s fine. It’s not the first time I’ve been called an idiot. But, when you start putting all this stuff together, it does kind of make sense. Have a good evening, good people, and uh I’ll see you all real soon.

Yo Mark EAGLES OLD HEAD HERE DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE YOUNGINS TROLLING HALF OF THEM BANDWAGON. BUT NOW I THINK YOU CAN OPEN YOUR MIND TO MICAH BEING A CANCER IN THE LOCKER ROOM . THAT'S WHY I NEVER WANTED HIM AS AN EAGLES PLAYER. AND WE JUMPED DOWN THAT WEAK ASS SLAY THROAT FOR EVEN BEING ON THAT PODCAST. ANY WAY JERRY SHOULD HAVE DONE IT WHEN IT WAS EARLY SO HE COULD HAVE GOTTEN TOP 10 PICKS. THAT'S THE PROBLEM WITH TRADE IF THEM CHEESE HEADS GOOD THEM PICKS LATE 1ST ROUND. AND HE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN MORE GOOD YOUNG PLAYERS. MY CONDOLENCES ON YOUR FATHER'S PASSING. I BEEN WATCHING YOU AND 500 FOR YEARS. IF THAT HAD BEEN US THE CITY WOULD HAVE BEEN AT HOWIE'S OFFICE WITH TORCHES.YOU KNOW WE GOOD FOR RUNNING BUMS OUT OF PHILLY . IT MIGHT WORK OUT FOR YOU COWBROADS. MICAH WAS A ME ME CANCER. HE WOULD HAVE BEEN BAD FOR OUR LOCKER ROOM CULTURE SO HE MIGHT BE BAD FOR THE CHEESE HEAD CULTURE TOO.GO BIRDS.
What an idiot
See Mark they are Front Runners…Band Wagons but Mark you got to realize Eagles still in the bottom among Championships in the NFC East
I hated that podcast dam jersey swapping with SF AFTER GETTING BEAT DOWN BY THEM naming your top 10 qbs. And Dak not one of them during season mind you I want Diggs ass up outta here too I ain't forgot when Kittles.juggled ball in front of him for least seconds and he ran by him ass though a nice hit wouldn't have broken up play. In the dam playoffs atcthar!!°–@-
Finally your seeing the light mark, yes we're better off with out him
Thanks Mark for keeping us informed and when you drink like I do too keep bottles of water to slam also bro I'm 59 right on your heels …GO COWBOYS I LOVE TAPE IVE 💙 WATCHING KENNY CLARK HE'S A Freaking BEAST!!!!!!
I know Micah is a generational pass rusher but he was bad against the run. You got an all pro run stuffer. You ranked 28th in D last year. I bet it’s better this year. It would crazy to say you will be better than Philly but a lot of things can happen between now and the end of season.
Bro mark it has nothing to do with the podcast. Jerry is butthurt because he had a deal with Micah and they backed out and the agent has just been outshining Jerry in every fashion. It’s why Jerry doesn’t want to do a deal with the guy. He loses every time. Then he got pissed and traded him instead of getting great value for him. You’re getting 2 late first round picks. Remember there is only prolly 20 to 25 first round picks every year on average. So you basically get 2 2nd round picks and a 30 year old hurt defensive tackle. Even if he does play good he’s only got a couple years left.
Wow DAK didn't like podcast so now Mark understands why he was traded! Un freaking real! We know he stalkes Dak but damn this new low!
This clown talk out of both sides of his mouth. I been saying for the longest time hes pure bs.
Marc Holmes we are not losing opening night. You’re not coming into Philadelphia into that electric stadium with that energy and gonna walk out of there with a dub you Trippin.😂
Every year he has gotten slower and slower. He over runs plays and if he isn't getting sacks he's a cry baby. Qb steps up in the pocket and Parsons isnt affective. He's out there doing what he wants. He's just a over paid Chase Young. Hard headed and and probaly hard to coach. We may be better off. We weren't winning with him anyways. Let him go rip someone else off. Jerry offered him good $ and the rat wanted to go to green Bay where he can eat all the cheese he wants.
Before Micah, the defense wasn't stopping the run…trash
State taxes are gonna eat all that extra $ up. He should have stayed where he was.
RATS LOVE CHEESE!
It is not easy to showboat. You make your player look like 💩. Micah did. Somebody come after me with his stats or sacks….. Did he make our defense great? We gonna lose this year but better under a person that loves us and prays next to us than live next to Satan
The Cowboys organization does not have any credibility left at this point…
Bye bye parsons who can’t stop the run and can only dominate against weaker teams. The tape doesn’t lie parsons disappears in big games because of the talent. When parsons comes to Dallas in week 4 it’s simple run the ball down his throat all game long.
I used to think you were delusional when it came to the Cowboys. Now, after watching you & others, I know the whole DC4L fan base is delusional. As a Redskins fan, we wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this and we certainly wouldn't be lying to ourselves that this was the best thing to do.
The schedule this year for the NFC East is very difficult. You guys may end up with 3-4 wins and realize you gotta start all over but you still have CeeDee under contract and Dak for two more years before you can really even start the process to rebuild. I'm just amazed how quickly you all fell back into line like Lil soldiers and JJ the General. Despicable!
They will be ok ..
Mark you are finally seeing that guy the way some of us eagles fans saw him. A lot of us wanted you guys to sign him back so badly because we knew its all about him and not about winning games. It upsets me that you traded him.
Mark your so full of it cause you were the same one defending Micah back when people were saying these things so now that he's traded you wanna bring it up….. SMH
HAPPY HE GOT HIS MONEY FANS STOP TALKING ABOUT YOUR QB .HE MAKES MORE THEN DAK .SO JUST TALK GOOD ABOUT YOUR TEAM LET IT GO HE GONE I WISH VERY WELL WITH HIS NEW TEAM .I AM ALWAYS GOING TO BE DALLAS COWBOYS FAN.I DONT TALK ABOUT QB RECEIVER .DCFL🎉💙👍💯
.
This is why they call you Delulu cowboys, oh shit my bad Dak lover
I hated that podcast. The team loses a game he grinning and talking about other teams.
Wow so micah was holding yall back now 😂😂😂
Mark im done unfortunately when we got rid of our best defender we had and now our defense is suspect
