Milwaukee Brewers vs Toronto Blue Jays – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | August 31, 2025 MLB Season
Rang and Christian Yelich are two tough ones at the top of this Brewers lineup. And a first pitch fast ball is in there for a strike. And this ball game is underway. Change up has been a big pitch for him against these lefties as well. There it is. And it’s hit in the air to left and it is carrying. Lucas is back, but he pulls up shy of the track. Contras hits a ball to deep left field and it’s gone. a first pitch slider that he hits out to left. His 17th home run on the season. And the Brewers have jumped out in front. A lot of different guys who can do damage. Got him. Swinging a miss to get Vaughn to retire the side. Swing and a miss though on an elevated fast ball and Woodruff picks up. Fair ball down the left field line and that will cash in both runners. A big big first inning hit here for Nathan Lucas. A two out, two-run double to tie the ball game. This may have changed things. Clement loops it right center field dropping and down for a base hit and Lucas is in to score. It is 32 Blue Jays. Ground out to the left side. Now Andres Jimenez will lift a fly ball to shallow right. Freelick fighting the sun and did make the catch. Not without some difficulty. Have to look at that stuff that maybe other teams are on with so many balls leaving the ballpark. Fly ball to center field. Miles Straw there and Isaac Collins is retired. One and two the count on the shorts stop. Andrew Monisterio and Sherzer gets him to pop up. Jimenez, the second baseman going out to shallow rank to make the catch and Sherzer. This one to left field. He’s tagged it pretty well and it’s off the wall. Straws getting the wave on his way to the plate and in there now Springer to third and he’s safe. Jumping out forward on breaking balls like we just saw in the air to right center but not deep and it’ll be Cheurio the center fielder to make the two begin the ball game. This is hit pretty well. It’s going to deep left field. It’s carrying and it’s out of here. Bryce Terra goes to the opposite field for his 16th home run of the season. His 10th and a fast ball hit high in the air to right. Barger going back. He can’t see it. He can’t find it. And Sherio’s at second base. had the sunglasses on and and here’s another high-fly ball to center. This is tagged well, but it’s going to be playable for Straw and Cheerio had gone halfway on that ball. Runner at second, one out and the 3-1 and the fast ball hit well to the opposite field. Barger going back and it’s off the wall. Cheerio around third. He’ll come in to score. Contras just at first to center field. Straw on his way over to right center and he’ll make the catch. Contrarus is tagging coming to third and he’s out. What a throw by Miles Straw. Maybe you get that mix and try to gain that platoon advantage. You can hear the air show in the background as Clement pops this one up to shallow left and Collins comes in to make the play. The 2-2 line drive to left field, but it’s right at Collins and that’ll end the inning. A leadoff walk to Bashette and that’s all down and Sher back out for the fourth as this one is hit to center field going back straw. He’s got room and he makes the play as Isaac Collins. Big pitch here. Runner goes from first. They throw through. Runner coming home. The tag. They got him. First time up. Got jammed a little bit and he hits a fly ball to shallow left center field. Collins in and quickly two down. bounces it into deep short. The long throw is not in time. It’ll be an infield hit and an RBI for Guerrero. And look at how relieved he is. He’s been going through it through Woodruff. It looked like out to the second baseman. Terra will step up. [Music] He’s got another one. Coming home. They get one. Boy, that was the hardest chance he had. Made a great play. Swinging a miss. They’ll take that too. Look at the location of that curve ball. He went to his bread. Ground ball to short. Bette to Guerrero and Nance gets out of it. The Brewers loaded the bases with nobody out. [Applause] This is popped up back of third. Durban, the third baseman, is there. One down. The two to left center field. This is going a long way and it’s not going to be caught. Clement will come in to score. Jimenez is stopped at third or grounded up the middle for a base hit and this will score two. A two-run single for Straw who’s having a big couple of days and it’s eight to four. Well, that but there there has to be something maybe in the baseball that can be done. This is line to left. A sliding catch by Nathan Lucas. high on him with the kind of stuff that he’s got, but it’s been a struggle lately. Good knuckle curve right there to get him. Two down. Got him. Got him to chase a pitch down and away. Two. Create that angle with his bat and they give him the left side. Lucas running. It’s a hit and run. Clement swings through it and Lucas is out. And now Clement lifts one to shallow right field. The catch will be made by Freelick and just uh recently claimed and sent to Buffalo. Great numbers against lefties this year. Swinging a miss. Farland gets Contraras. [Applause] This is popped up by Andres Jimenez back of third. Durban the third baseman. The catch. White Sox have just tied it up in Chicago with the Yankees. It’s 2-2. Heinaman with a fly ball to right. Deep but playable. And the catch made by Freelick. Two down on Labor Day. Yeah, this is a fair ball. It’s going to be a tough play. And Durban makes it. Got it over to first just in time. Rob Z as Pat calls him. He went around. Good pitch there by Dominguez. that diving look to it. Fast ball plays shallow center. Bette going back. Makes the catch. A very good sign to see him at least try it on a glove or some kind of padding to see if he’s playable. This is popped up shallow left. Lucas the catch. A couple of starts there. Popped up back of second. Terrain will reach up and make the grab for out number one. Beyond four, then it would be Lucas. Bette with a fly ball to right field. Freelick in a couple of steps to make the catch. Two down and a ground ball to third on the second to force the runner and end the inning. [Applause] Swing and a miss. One down. Let’s go to Hazel. Dan Jeff Hoffman was out. It’d be better. Bryce Terraang the batter lines this one to left field and Miles Straw makes another great play in the one and one the count to deep left center field. Baro racing back and it’s off the wall. Straw backing it up and Shurio is into second with a double. Ground ball to third. Clemens got it and the Blue Jays win it. Jeff Hoffman comes on in the ninth and gets the last three outs of the afternoon.

Keep up the good work! Your ideas are unique and you skillfully convey your passion for creativity.🎯🎃😺
Hoffman giving up a dangerous hit at the end there that makes him look beatable yet again.
Great game Jays.
@0:27. Clank, lol
Nice work boys
What is a Hoffman?
Great win by the Jays today. Jankees and Astros lost. Feels great
Schneider keeps gambling with Hoffman . What’s with this idiot ?
The Jays will never be competitive until they get a great closer, which will never happen
Rogers who owns Sportsnet should be disgusted with themselves. They show the same commercials over and over and over again. Can't they afford an array of commercials? Also, they put advertisements on the screen when the baseball game is on. One can see these advertisements on the pitchers mound when the pitcher is pitching! How bizarre is that? There is also advertisements in the top right corner when the games are on. This is low-grade bush-league tactics by Rogers. Obstructing the customers view is unacceptable during live sporting events.
On to Brklyn for the reaction! 🙂
Love, love my Blue Jays!!!!!!💥💥
Hoffman in low leverage is really the only way you can use him at this point. Nice to see the offence wake up as well.
Jays did good field work keeping some runs off the board.
Can't trust Hoffman to be a reliable closer. Sorry not sorry.
5-5 10 dernier match sa s'anonce pas bien si il participe au séries a se riple a il vont se faire sortir en 3 encore
Let's gooo JAYS😊really needed that one hanging on and holding on not the best way but it's a W ❤
Wow the bullpen had their best game of the season. This was an important game and should help moving forward.
Lets gooo Vladdyy with the game winner !!! I think this is the beginning of his comeback!
Imagine in the playoffs with NY or LA … Hoffman is not the guy to win us the title. Even under no pressure he can't close
Great game would be a sick world series
Blue Jays have to get a good Closer, because Hoffman is a joke and blows so many games on us i do not know why Snieder keeps putting him in. Glad we got the win today though. We needed it big time. Take care all.
Good, the Jays needed this one for reasons of self-respect and the standings — nice of the White Sox to interrupt the Yanks. Schneider was trying to pick up Hoffman, but better if he'd waited one more day for the road game in Cinci. His insistence on going to Little first out of the 'pen, with his wobbly control, remains a mystery. This fragile bullpen will continue to be an adventure, especially in the glare of Yankee Stadium. But then, it's not supposed to be easy.
Estonia's russophobia was written in the Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact. You know, the one with the N-words to divvy up eastern Europe.
Hoffman needs to stay on the bench for eternity
This would make a great playoff series.
The baseball goods were on the jays' side in this one… a lot of weakly hit balls finding gaps. When Vladdy and Bo aren't going they really don't have much to fall back on, roll players have been coming through lately but this isn't a formula for success
The jays under performing in game one bullpen and Hoffman blowing game 2 made the brewers look good, they aren’t at all impressive, game 3 is what the brewers really are. An over performing mediocre team.
Finally won, they pop out too much.
Whoa now…the bullpen didn’t give up any runs AND the bats showed up?! The stars and planets must be aligned.
Toronto wayward fans acting like Yankees fans in the comments — entitled
Nance has been the best arm out of the bullpen of late. That hasn’t changed.
Hurray for the Blue Jays! ❤
