The WORST Team In The NFL OR Are They Not THAT BAD???
Uh, all right. Last team talk about in this division, the New Orleans Saints. They are plus300 to win this division. They stink. Spencer Rattler is going to be the starting quarterback. Over under five and a half wins going into this season. Kell Moore, the head coach of the New Orleans Saints. Dylan, you have them finishing second. That’s that I think that’s 10 times crazier than not saying the Panthers are winning this division. Is starting Spencer Rattler the correct move? I don’t think it matters. I don’t think you you could start anybody in that organization and it would not matter if this for this team because their absolute ceiling is seven wins at best and I think that’s a stretch. I saw a tweet that was hilarious. It was from Barry McCainer said Spencer Rattler scouting report. Pros: kind of looks like Patrick Mahomes from 100 feet away. Cons: can’t play quarterback. I think that sums it up perfectly. I so when I wrote my notes, it was before Rattler was uh named the QB1 and I asked, you know, it was Rattler Hayner last year. Should you go with Shuck or should you go with Rattler? My thought was always Rattler like that, you know, don’t throw Shuck into the mix if he if you think he’s the future. I wasn’t a huge fan of him. Uh so we get Rattler, which I think is probably the right move. New head coach Kell Moore. There’s no part. So Kell Moore led the Eagles offense last year. One of the most efficient offenses. He led the offense on a Brandon Staley Chargers team with an awful defense. Awful decisions were being made on Staley’s part. Do you think it seems like Kell Moore is able to get the most out of the talent that he has? Yeah. You don’t think that there’s any any renaissance here with the Saints and Kell I mean who’s their defensive coordinator? Yeah. Who’s their defensive coordinator? Dylan, do you know the Saints? Yeah. Do you know who the Saints defensive coordinator is? No. It’s one of the two names you just mentioned. It’s Brandon Stale. Staley. Getting the gang back together. Listen, doesn’t matter. Doesn’t matter. Doesn’t matter to me. Doesn’t getting the gang back together. Uh they were the 11th rated rash rush attack last year. They were the fourth worst rated tackling team. League worst in pass blocking, 10th best in run block, offensive line and to poor. Uh is great if he stays healthy. I like Rasheed Shah. Great is a stretch. He’s solid. A yes. And who’s throwing him the ball? Solid. Injury prone. Injury prone. Yes. Rattler is. Yeah, we we covered that I think in the first minute or so. So, let me ask you this. You have him second in the division. I think that’s what is the redeeming quality about this Saints team head coach. That’s that doesn’t do anything first year. Uh but he has a track record of success as a coordinator elsewhere. Like if if we’re with with much greater talent. So does every new head coaching hire. Every new head coaching hire has great track record as a coordinator. Guess what? Brian Callahan was awesome with the Bengals. Yeah. Was he awesome with the Titans last year? Robert Salah was a great defensive coordinator. Uh well, yeah, I’ll put an aster on on the Salah situation. He he had he had an interesting situation. Uh I’m in on the Saints team. I think their schedule is extremely like no prime time games. You don’t really have a stretch of backto backto back away games. The one, let me look right here. The one stretch you have at Rams at Panthers, then you have a buy. I I like how the schedule plays out for them. I think they’re better than the Panthers. I think they’re going to be better than the Falcons. If you like the That’s terrible. But if you think if you like the Saints schedule, then you have to like the Panthers schedule, too. The Panthers have one prime time game, zero Thursday night games, and it’s a Monday night in San Francisco. Yeah. I don’t hate the Panthers schedule. I never said I hated the Panthers schedule. You just hate us is what it is. No, I don’t. I hate He’s Yeah, he’s just anti- US. That’s it. He’s just ant. I hate bad defenses. Look at the Saints. What? There is no redeeming quality about this Saints team. Zero. The defense average age is what? 40. Do you see the amount of people that are above 35 on that defense? The offensive line The offensive line is terrible. the whole Derek Carr fiasco of last year and this off season. They they don’t even know what quarterbacks they have. Tyler Shuck, Spencer Rattler, this is all setting up for them to take Arch Manning in the draft next year. Okay, they’re going to be the worst team in football. This is they might win four games. I might have been a year early on this. Alvin Kamar is 30 years old now. The falloff is coming. It is imminent. It will happen. I was a year early last year. He had a pretty good year last year and I predicted he would suck. Maybe it’s this year. Like I think the falloff is coming for him. Defense, like I said, a lot of veterans, aging guys. Pass catchers aren’t bad, but I just don’t think Spencer Rattler is a good quarterback. And if Tyler Shuck can’t beat him out in camp, what does that say about Tyler Shuck? That’s sucks. I will tell you that right now. They don’t have a good quarterback on this team. Is Kurt Cousins going here? They don’t have anything on this team. The offensive line is is terrible. The wide receiver room. Yeah. Chris Olive, he’s solid. Rashid’s heed’s solid. Guess what? Years old. Spencer Rattler’s throwing him the ball. Tyler or Tyler Shuck. Kell Moore walked into the worst head coaching situation that one of the worst we’ve ever seen. They’re o they’re way over the cap this season. They have no wiggle room out of free agency and all this cap disaster. Their only hope is getting a first overall pick and bringing in a new quarterback next year. This is going to be the worst team in football. Yeah, I think Kell Moore needs to use this year just to evaluate the young talent he has. And Kell Moore shouldn’t be judged for anything that happens this year. He’s in an impossible situation. I think that’s going to be a little bit better than what you guys are insinuating. A little bit better. That means you’re saying four wins. Four, five wins better. You’re saying they’re going eight and nine at this point. Yeah. Yeah. That’s I’ve got three and 14, Carter. Yeah, I have three and 14, man. I would Yeah. under macaroni. Yeah. Twice a macaroni salad. Yeah, I’m with you. Oh, well. Panthers are winning this division. Book it right now. All right.
