11 ining loss to the New York Yankees Saturday evening at Ray Field in Chicago. I’m David Kaplan.

New York Yankees. And nice crowd of almost 27,000 at the ballpark tonight. And the Socks got
solid starting pitching. It was a dog fight all the way into extra innings, tied 22. And then
the Yankees broke it open and put the game away. Let’s get into it. Also brought to you by our

fourth inning. And then it was Aaron Judge way up and way out. So if you bought a ticket
hoping you could watch Aaron Judge smoke one, you got your wish answered. Aaron Judge’s 42nd
bomb of the season to deep center field. One- nothing Yankees. Mike Tauman a base hit. Bottom
five. Curtis Meade rolls in to score. Tied at one. Austin Wells. He cranks his 19th. It’s a
2-1 Yankee lead. But Chase Maid bottom seven, base hit. Here comes Curtis Meat again. We’re
tied at two. We go all the way to the 11th inning. Cody Bellinger base hit into shallow left. That
brings in Trent Gisham. Then Jazz Chisum with a double. That brings in Aaron Judge. Then Anthony
Vulpi with a double. That brings in Jazz Chisum. And all of a sudden it’s a 52 ball game. White
Socks did get a ground out to second base. That brought in a runner, the ghost runner. And there’s
your ball game. 53 the final. Folks, I was talking to a group of diehard White Sox fans tonight. Die
hard. Some of my closest friends plus my brother and he is an absolute diehard and they all said
they don’t think the club is close to winning. I actually think if Jerry Greenlight a little bit
of spend in the off season, again, I’ve said it a million times, not expecting him to play in the
deepest end of the pool. That’s not who the dude is. But I would hope that he would let Chris get
add some veteran talent to this club and get some back end of the bullpen help. You bring up Grant
Taylor from double A. He’s out of gas, man. He is out of gas. Most guys can’t go double A to the big
league. So Jerry, it’s on you and your partners to let Chris get at least get the club competitive.
If you don’t, then I don’t know what you’re doing. Why own a baseball team if you don’t want to be
competitive? You You got to let the guy compete. You just have to. Let’s take a look at our Hooters
winging it. Starting pitching matchup. You had Schlitter for the Yankees. Four uh he went six
innings, four hits, one run earn, eightks a walk, an erra now of 261. That dude is really, really
good. Cam Schlitler. Schlitler. Let me make sure I pronounce that correctly. And for the Chicago
White Socks, they got excellent starting pitching as well. Shane Smith, six and a third, three
hits, two runs there. Earn seven Ks, two walks, two home runs allowed. Isert, Leisure, Taylor,
and Alexander finished it up. That is our Hooters winging it. Starting pitching matchup. Which way
I’m going to go for the apt player of the game? You can post your thoughts and tell me what you
do. The Yankees won the game with only six hits in the ball game. Uh, I guess I will give it
to Schlitler. Schlitler probably did the most. Nobody had a multi-hit night for the Yanks. Aaron
Judge did have a home run and scored two runs. So, we’ll give it to Schlitler. He is
the player of the game. White Socks lose 5-3. That’s five straight. Yankees go
for a four-ame sweep on Sunday. Take that.
The #ChicagoWhiteSox drew well tonight, but as #Kap says, the #NewYorkYankees are in town, that’s what happens. #AaronJudge homered, his 42nd and the #Sox got great starting pitching once again from #ShaneSmith, but this one took extra innings for the Yankees to pull away from the Sox in the 11th. There wasn’t a lot of great solo performances in this game, and that’s 5 straight losses for the Sox. Kap says he hopes #JerryReinsdorf allows #ChrisGetz to spend at least a little in the offseason cause he believes they’re really not that far from competing.

DOUBT IT KAP.
Kap sox do need to spend next year because they are getting closer to contending in my opinion. Take that
Reinsdorf. That's all you need to know. The team will be better next year.
Kap is okay if Jerry spends a little more.
But the Rcketts' have to spend a lot.
What gives.
Both are making tons of money.
Green light spending? For who? And contending for what exactly? Cute team with some young talent, but that’s kind of the ceiling right now isn’t it?

We ain’t gonna sign Tucker or Alonso bc that would be a pipe dream but I don’t rule out 1 year deals.
Jerry Reinsdorf just needs to pass on. This team will lose 100 games a year while he exists. Please just go away. Milking every last penny out of this thing. He doesn't care about the fans. Greedy. He loses year in and out and becomes richer. Greed.
