I’ve said it since Khan took over, Steelers reporters just shouldn’t be listened to. The organization is very good at keeping secrets. The owner coach and GM all get along. For years reporters could rely on saying the same old shit. “That’s not the steeler way, building through the draft, no sexy moves during free agency”. It was very easy just to say that stuff and look like you know what you’re talking about. Now that we’re in a new era of Steelers activity none of these guys know what the fuck is going on and it shows.
Gerry you basically have to come down to – is he currently being a mouthpiece for the team.
Hes accurate when he actually writes a story, etc because its given to him by the team.
But hes a terrible football analyst and so in his chats when he has to think…. you get consistently terrible answers that people think he was actually given by the team.
Never trust a Gerry Dulac chat. Ever.

I want to support a local journalist and I like Gerry when I see him speak. But this guy is so far away from the pulse, he’s lost any credibility as an insider. Virtually every prediction he’s made about the direction the team was going was flat out wrong. Dude swore there was zero chance we signed Rodgers and claimed he had inside conversations.
The OTHER reason this is funny is that everyone says Dulac has this super tight relationship with Tomlin. Can’t have it both ways, people.
Did any of us really expect an extension for Warren? I like him, he just needs to fix his fumbling problem
