Just goat things
Me on my couch talking to the TV before any game for any of my teams like
Me after folding the laundry that’s been sitting on my chair for the last two days
This speech is eerie to listen to in hindsight knowing of the looming ‘Decision’ only 2 years later. The hints were there.
Damn why am I hyped for my day right now? im just going to go buy something in Anaheim off facebook marketplace but now I’m going to buy it with excellence.
Kinda cool that he said this unprompted. Coach K didn’t need to say “hey LeBron, wanna add to this…” he just left it open and Bron stepped up. Really would have liked to see some behind the scenes clips of him doing this in the 2024 Paris games
This is goat leadership
This is a live look at one of the best players of all time behind the scenes. This is awesome, and I’d love to see more like this. We don’t have to devolve to “jordan vs lebron” in the comments. This is just a cool clip
Me right before I cook something at home instead of ordering door dash for the 4th straight night
Is this the only time that someone has said having Carlos Boozer on their team would lead to a NBA championship
This is what leadership looks like. Calling out guys in the room next to him, making them feel like they’re key to a championship run.
If I’m Carlos Boozer there I’m feeling pretty good about myself.

It’s still kind of crazy that he was roughly 23 year-old years old when he was sitting here saying this
THIS was the moment that the idea of a super team in LeBron’s mind, was formed.
The right mentality to have
Those old Spalding TF 1000’s were butter
“We in a position right now where we control our own destiny”.
Makes even more sense that post those Olympics he was like, what am I sitting here doing in Cleveland.
You just know Michael Redd was reddy to run through a fuckin brick wall after this speech
Lebron’s mentality and maturity at such a young age is so underrated. Captain america for real
LeCoach
Some of Bron’s corniest moments are clips of him giving pep talks. But this was legit. He didn’t have any championships at this point but it was clear he was setting the tone here.
🐐 gonna 🐐
He was 23 at the time, that’s extremely mature for that age.
LEGOAT
Good thing he specified “across these waters” only, cause within these waters is a different ballgame.. we full of excuses here baby
The fuck shirt is he wearing
Whats funny is he eventually DID have Chris Bosch on his team. He DID have Boozer on his team, lol.
Nephews will say Lebron wasn’t a leader of this team.
This reminds me that Carlos Boozer was on the Cavs and they decided to let him become an RFA per a handshake deal and then didn’t match Utah’s offer sheet lol

“Guys we have to not turn the ball over”
Lol why didn’t he apply this to when he got bronze.
Me doing the dishes after lasagna night.
I dont know if there’s another clip of LeBron being this honest and raw. Even as a Bron hater, I appreciate him saying “…and I know im guilty of this too…” with the teammates thing.
Agreed. He always been a leader
He was 23 years old in this video. Wow
Natural born leader
Kobe watching on proudly and clapping his hands
I have always found this US National Team stuff so dumb.
They are always expected to win it all, no loses. When the US team loses 1 game it is a big thing.
I know because we still celebrate the Puerto Rico team beating them once in 2004.
So why do they do these “underdogs” things? It is such bs.
lol so LeBron’s been making excuses since long ago? He went to 2008, got that superteam USA squad and basically said I want that for the rest of my career. LeGM was born in that era.
(I’m half serious with this one lol. He’s had some huge carry jobs, so he good in my book).
No excuses, but Tin Duncan should get legacy points deducted for not winning gold
Irony
We gotta use all the clichés!
He was 23 at the time, which is MJ’s number. That’s why MJ’s the goat
Just a natural born leader damn. And Kobe was sitting in the room listening as well. LeBron is just an anomaly of a man
