Alcántara in the 9 hole
**Cubs.**
Seeing JT in the lineup and also batting 5 gives me a mo mo, then I remind myself there is reason to the madness (splits, Busch coming in yada yada)
Why add Santana and then start Justin Turner in this game?
Day off for PCA against a lefty and Alcantara gets to show his stuff as a result.
This is only the third time this season that an opposing LHP faces a lineup without both Busch and PCA: on 6/11 Luzardo got to face Turner / Brujan (!) and on 8/4 Lodolo saw Turner / Castro.
Division is still a long shot and I’m not super worried about it but 5.0 GB with the Brewers playing the Phillies would be nice
