19 games is enough to estimate who a player will be the following season especially when the 19 games came late in the season vs early on. I doubt Giddey will avg 21/11/9 next year but having that threat on the court will draw a lot of attention away from Coby and Matas. It also allows Giddey to play a more well rounded game.
Bulls by accident just hit a jackpot for relatively low price with all these brilliant signings like Lavine, Derozan, Patrick W. And suddenly decided to be super rational, oh no Giddey played so well that we afraid he not gona improve, what kind of ceiling we are looking at – 30/15/15 ? For sure not. So Bulls overpaid few players and now afraid even to pay someone who still 22 years old. I can see all free agent's flowing to Bulls 🙂 after all this mess. Just basic crap – Bulls got rid of anchor called Lavine – and someone like Giddey was able to increase his usage rate to 21% and check even with this usage rate what you got. Just to not mention who was his competition at Thunder.

So his rebounding and assists were stable (the floor) in any case. So yeah… if bulls wish to keep rebuilding – they must sign and trade him – to make sure no play-in happens again and Bull can safely tank for another 5 years.
