  1. Good win, hope Tucker is okay, he’s putting together some good at bats

If it’s truly precautionary wouldn’t mind a 10-day IL stint and get Caissie or Mo some ABs. Have to get Tucker ready for October at the very least

  2. I’d like to see Clark do a zig zag or a little dance half way through his run. Something he can show off the W some more.

  3. Elite defensive effort tonight.

Shota wasn’t at his best but battling to get through 6 was huge.

    Great

    #[W]

  4. There’s some people here that really need to watch other closers in the league. Even the dominant ones. High wire acts are an occupational hazard with the role.

  5. Congrats to everyone who survived that broadcast. For those who didn’t, we’ll plow forward in your honor.

  6. Some people are so desperate for the “Palencia is not a closer” narrative to be true that you can almost feel them rooting against him in save situations.

Hard hit single and a weak infield hit. Got the job done. Again.

  7. Happy about the W.

But I would just liketo express how much I hated the Yeti yard and normalizing turning the broadcast into a fucking commercial within itself.

All these “revenue streams” are never put back into the team. Tom can go get fucked by a Yeti.

  8. “Palencia is not a closer” said multiple GDT scouts. He then went on to record yet another save.

  9. It’s not always the most aesthetic baseball, but the Cubs are back to 21 games over .500 and have the third best record in MLB.
