Things got HEATED between the Rockies and Giants after Rafael Devers homered 😳

That’s how you get paid. That’s why he got paid. Number one in the sport. This ball is in the air to deep right field and he’s done it again. First inning home run last night for Dabers. Freeland and Dabers. Freeland took exception to Dabers and we’re going to have both benches empty. And now Kyle Farmer’s getting in there. What a matchment. Push Kyle. [Applause] We haven’t seen one of these in a long time involving the Rockies. And you know what a fiery competitor Freeland is. He’s a pro and he’s like, “All right, I know you’re good, but you don’t have to sit there and dance going up the first base line.” It looks like Kyle’s already been ejected from the game. So, he’s walking off with Clint Hurdle. [Music] Matt Chapman looked like he came in in the middle of that and pushed Kyle Freeland. I I don’t like what happens cuz Rafie Demers didn’t even round the bases. William, it’s escalating again because Kyle said something to Adam. Adamus started jogging over. Adam was telling Kyle to leave the field. Go. [Applause] Keep in mind this is the top of the first inning. Yes. And this is a middle game of a three-game set. And you still have three more in San Francisco to end the season. [Applause] Were they just pushing Kyle out of the way or did they throw him out? Well, I don’t think he’s thrown out cuz he’s walking back to the mound. Yeah. But here’s the deal. All four umpires get together and they determine who who stays and who goes. So Dav’s I think Kyle took offense that because it was clear it wasn’t near the foul pole. No, he was just watching it. Mark Hollberg tried to get him going. See there’s right there he should get ejected should be absolutely had no business there. No. Or pushing another and kind of from behind. Yeah. And then Farmer jumped in there. He’s sprinting into the pack. [Applause] Yeah. You’d have to go back and see the contact again cuz Chapman Why does Freley get thrown out? To me, Chapman’s got to go. I don’t think Free so far, they haven’t thrown him out. Well, again, they take names and numbers. Yeah, what they just observe. That’s what umpires do. I mean, it’s not two linesmen in hockey trying to break it up. This may take a few minutes. This is where they should be able to go to replay. He’s very aggressive. Why is he pushing? Why is he he should get [Applause] This is where they should be able to go to video replay and look at Phil Kuzy’s in the middle. Dan Bolino, the first base umpire is the crew chief and Dan’s going to let us know. Well, first he’s going to talk to Warren Schaefer and then I’m sure he’s going to go over and talk to Bob Melvin. Well, Phil Kuzi is going to do that. Last thing you want too is to lose a starter eight pitches into the game when he didn’t do anything other than yell at Rafi to start running. Well, now Antonio Sensitella, maybe the Rockies already know something because Sensitella is up throwing, which means Freeland’s been ejected. He just got called by Roaring Schaffer. And and I the only way that that’s justified is you say, well, he took, you know, 10 12 steps toward Debors and was and was yelling at him, which initiated the conflict, right? But he also walked away. Due to their actions during the onfield incident, the starting pitcher is removed from the game as well as Willie Adam and Chapman for San Francisco. All right, so Denver stays in. Chapman and Thomas are out. Yeah. And they had to go. Chapman Chapman initiated contest and Adamus I I couldn’t tell what was going on in the middle of it. He was very aggressive, but when when it seemed to be broken up, he kind of ratcheted it up again. So here’s Freeland. He’s watching the ball. and he knows it’s out. And then he sees that Devers is only moved about 10 15 ft. Run around the bases. [Applause] Here’s Chapman. [Applause] Oh, Thomas is in there right in the middle, too. [Music] [Applause] And if and if wasn’t going to be thrown out prior, it’s hard to tell, you know, exactly what was going on. That I think got him injected. So they lost two infielders. Remember their other infielder, Casey Schmidt, was hit on the elbow that I mean, it’s going to be interesting how they Bob Melvin does it with the infielders. Crazy.

  3. Freeland shouldn’t have been running his mouth. The real reason these pitchers get an attitude is because they gave up a homer and instead of being upset with themselves they place the anger on the guy who hit it. Some of these pitchers have such thin skin and zero mental toughness.

  5. As of now the Rockies have 99 loses, clinched a 5 game margin in the NL West basement and I think they got 23 games to go. They’re a pretty sad ball club!!!😂😂😂😂

  21. I'm a Giants' fan, but I remember Madison Bumgarner getting upset with the Dodgers' Muncy for the same thing. We are all glad the team is starting to play well, and earn those hefty checks, but when your team is on life support this late in the season (one game over 500), and still 8.5 games behind the hated Dodgers, you ain't got no reason to admire your home run against a team 39.5 games out of first place. Let's act like pros Gents.

  24. When Mickey Mantle hit a home run he would round the bases with his head down. When asked about it, he said he didn’t want to show up the pitcher because the pitcher felt bad enough already. He was a class act. It’s really sad how we have come to this. 🙁

  25. So, do the 2 runs actually count? I don't believe the runner on first and Devers crossed the plate before the "BIG PUSHING & SHOVING" match.
