The night here at Coors Field. Who cares about Christmas when you have park in the day. The best day of the year, Kyle Freeland have seen a lot of Freeland over the years. Frees pitched six innings and has allowed three runs in each of his first two starts against the Giants this year, Ramos out towards right center fast and it finds a spot on the outfield grass right off the end of the bat to base hit for Ramos. So it’s 0 to 2 to Devers. He’s got 94 runs batted in on the season. Devers skies one to right way up there and gone another one for Rafi Devers and kyle Freeland, the benches are clearing. Devers is trying to round the bases. Freeland was unhappy and now we got punches being thrown. Oh my goodness, Devers still hasn’t rounded the bases. He’s in the mix. He left the base path. This is now pushing out to second base and now Moore, this is Adama now screaming at Freeland. He’s kyle being held back by Clint Hurdle and one of the Giants coaches keeping Willie Adama back as Adama has words, Freeland did not like Devers, admiring that one kind of lost his mind. Kyle Freeland had some words for rafael Devers. Devers only got a few steps around first base after hitting that mammoth home run to right to give the Giants a two nothing lead. And I think chapman and Adam both raced out there. Matt Chapman looked like he came in the middle of that and pushed Kyle Freeland. Now he got some stuff to sort out. Starting pitcher is removed from the game as well as Willie adam and chapman for the Giants said , two guys with the shoves. So the Giants get two runs and lose two players brand new infield here for the Giants as Logan Webb has completed his warm up tosses two Giants ahead bottom of the first cy the home plate umpire just went out, had a quick chat with Logan two outs in the bottom of the first pitch , a swing and a ground ball. Here’s Devers right at him. He’ll glove it straightens up and throws to first for the out riding a bike baby. No problem whatsoever. Devers at third job by kyle Carros to draw the walk. So the Rockies have 1st and 2nd and 1 in the second inning. Another hot hitter for the Rockies coming up, Yanqui Fernandez, Fernandez swings and misses on another changeup. Big strikeout. Third, one of the swing and a soft little pop up back to Webb coming off to the first base side of the mound and he’ll make the catch a chorus of boos for Rafi Devers. He comes to the plate here in the third innings swing and a Miss got him with a high fastball at strikes out Devers to the delights of the Rockies fans. So there’s his second walk and the Rockies have Freeman at first one down. And now for the Rockies, the meat of the order, moniak Goodman and Doyle freeman takes off, bounce up Tyler. He didn’t see where the ball went. He hit a head first slide into the back and the Rockies again at 1st and 2nd. Next hitter now is hunter Goodman and a ground ball up the middle that’s in the left center field. It’s a base hit. He’ll score freeman on his way to third. Moniak holding at first base. Hunter Goodman. Rockies are on the scoreboard. A line shot up the middle RB I single for Hunter Goodman. Two to one. Giants, Brent Doyle with winners the corners and one out swing ground ball right to third Devers has it goes to second. There’s one over to first double play and that will end the inning bottom of the fourth inning. Ezekiel Tovar will lead it off for the Rockies and it swung on and missed, struck him out the fastball at 93 and we picks up his fifth strikeout Fernandez who saw nothing but changeups his first time up and struck out , swung on and missed back to the change up and a beauty there from Logan Webb Carros will get a head start at first Smith will play behind him. This is the ninth pitch of this at bat. Here it is and a check swing at a slider. It is strike three farmer can’t believe it. There have only been three base runners against Senzatela three singles. That’s it. Casey Schmid has had two deep fly balls to centerfield to left field going back on it. He knocked him over 3 to 1. Giants and Schmidt a solo shot here in the fifth inning. Well, he deserved that. He’s had two great at bats like you said, Joe tonight and Then he finally got one right there and it just stayed up enough to get out of this part. That’s going to end the night for Silla with two outs in the fifth inning. A run, the home run by casey with a line drive base hit into center field Smith whacks it into center for his second hit tonight. Eight hits on the night for the Giants. Wilmer Flores is lined to right and flied to left. Wilmer yanks one down the left field line toward the corner and down the tunnel and out of the ballpark, a two run homer 5 to 1 Giants, the RB I guy all year doing RB I things barrels it up and sends it right down the line like you described two run shot. You got to add on here in Colorado, a two run blast and it’s 5 to 1 Giants now, runners at the corners with one down for Goodman. The Rockies RB I leader and knocked in the run tonight trying to get a hit to chip four run deficit and he’ll bounce it to the left side for a base hit home to score. Goodman RB I number 78 and it’s 5 to 2 giants for him. Rockies with three hits in the inning. All ground balls to the left side. Doyle is the hitter tying run is at the plate now for Colorado chopper cost will step on second throw first and Tom smith, great job. What a pick. And just like that, Logan Webb is out of the inning two down in the inning. We’ll see if maybe hunter Goodman who’s got a couple of hits and in both the runs for the Rockies tonight can keep it going. It’s deep to left way out of here and long gone. It’s a new game. It’s 5 to 4 Rockies trailing by a run. Now on the blast, the two home run from hunter Goodman. Hunter with as much of a no Doubter as you could have his 27th of the year. Just what the Rockies needed. Two out knock. It’s a home run first extra base hit for the Rockies tonight. That’s a big run out there for the Goodman, a homer Giants now only leading by a run. Patrick Bailey. The hitter, Bailey high drive right field freeman back at the wall and Patrick Bailey a two run shot. It’s 7 to 4 Giants. How about 1/4 home run tonight for the Giants big swing of the bat from Patrick Bailey third home run of the year for Bailey. That was huge. Giants have a three run cushion , 74. Ryan Walker who has been pitching very well, will come in and try to get those final three outs two up two down here in the bottom of the ninth. And now Tyler freeman two, he struck him out swinging and the game is over the Giants win for the ninth time in their last 10 games. We saw Devers play third couple guys get kicked out and the Giants survive at all and win 74.
