Been a rough couple of series. Nothing really much to say. Our expected leaders aren’t hitting. Our pitchers been carrying us for far too long due to complete lack of offense and finally cracking. We had destiny in our hands and failed to meet the challenge.
Hopefully we avoid the sweep and get back on track. When our entire offense is a rare Luis HR against a bottom AL team, you know shit is dire.
Firing the ‘hitting coach’ and whoever decided on this new approach where we bunt our power bats in the 4th inning needs to be sent to the moon. A collapse this year, with this roster, means heads will roll. I hope they turn it around so we don’t get constant doom but holy shit things have been bleak lately.
Said more than I wanted to but fuck it. We are all frustrated.

I try to be optimistic but this is a rough stretch. The offense seems to struggle knowing the starters are going to give up runs consistently and early.
Maybe King coming back will be a morale boost. But 2 decent starters plus an overused bullpen…oof.
Cmon, Manny, Aug is over.
It’s time to start lowering expectations so by the time we get to the playoffs we’ll either be insanely surprised at the run they’re making or it’ll make sense when they get bounced from round 1. We are nowhere near like the 2024 team so we gotta treat em as such.
We’ve been terrible all year against left handed pitchers so I’m not holding my breath on this one.
